I see another on Trade me with the same seat , was this an option from New do you think? I had the Anniversary model in standard trim, the original seat is a bit higher by the look , better for my long legs . Cheers
The seat is part of the "Isle of Man Edition" modifications. I suspect that this was done in Japan and not something from that came from the factory. The other mods on the "Isle of Man Edition" include the fairing, twin pipes and a hand made alloy radiator catch tank and rear tail assembly. I've come across both 350 & 500cc versions of this model online.
Funnily enough it isn't that bad. I've ridden the bike for 100 km at a time with no comfort issues at all. But I wouldn't think of doing a whole day's ride on it though!

It's way faster than the Continental GT if you keep it in the power band :)
