I have a 2021 Cadillac CT5 Luxury with the 2.0. It's a really good car! The 2.0 is very good, lots of power for my driving experience. The CT5 is a great highway car, too. The CT5 is more like a four-door Camaro in its handling and coverall feel. But it has the upscale feel of any other Cadillac. It's definitely a great car!
These are really nice cars and great looking IMO and pretty good value for $. However the 2.0L is way underpowered for a car of this price. The V6 is much better. I'm surprised the 325 HP 2.7L isn't the base motor or at least an option.
@@michaelquinn8618 GM always shared platforms. All companies do . This has its own Cadillac Divisions technology, enhancements. It's on a Camaro chassis.
@@moth450 Actually this car is based on the Camaro's RWD Alpha platform which is a very good chassis. It shares nothing with the FWD Malibu except perhaps you are correct that the mirrors come out of the same parts bin? Not sure if that's the case and don't really care if it is. I agree the 2.0L is inadequate, I would get the V6 but these are very nice cars to drive because they are RWD based with longitudinally mounted engines so they don't drive like FWD grocery getters. Now the XT4 on the other hand is based on the Malibu platform and its apparent when you drive it because they drive like every other mundane FWD car on the road.
I own 1, and to be honest not impressed with the v4, its fast but sounds like crap, i had a good offer on it and was able to lower my negative equity as i got a loener... the screen look crapy compared to competitors, floor clearance is horrible..thumbs up to the exteriror thou, that is why i got the car, for the looks and gas consumption using regular gas its been pretty good.

It is, I believe it’s in the 500t
Lexus es 350 is about the same price and a lot faster. However, the caddy looks so much better...
Is this the Cadillac CT5 Luxury RWD?
I plan on buying a 2024 model in spring of 2026
I wish it looked more like a Cadillac.
It’s a Buick lacrosse with Cadillac badges on it

@@michaelquinn8618you’re fkn trippin lmao. Just say you can’t afford it.
Has that bustle back tail from BMW. 238hp chinese engine. You be rolling backwards on of these cali hills with 4 200lb adults
Good point!
@YTJoshuaMcDonald but it's a great disguise of the chevy malibu. They share the same outside mirrors. Size and profile.

The back passenger should get a fold down TV
That interior is underwhelming as hell .

Looks rather unimpressive, especially considering cost and competition!

Seriously, even my 2020 toyota rav4 has adaptive cruise control. This 2024 mid-luxury sedan doesn’t? Shame shame
No spare tire is not to bright
This cadillac is a complete rip off of the 2014 bmw x3 inside and out.
