Hello all and welcome back, For this weeks project I was inspired by a item I had seen on Pinterest, I wanted to make it my own and also use the opportunity to create a new template. I have been out of the template creation game for a bit with injuries, and family health issues, so I decided now would be a good time to get something new out to you all if interested.
This project uses only a small amount of material, and the template allows you to use some creative freedom, and even create a 3d version of a Viking long ship.
I just received word from our store uptown while editing this video that our beloved dragon Merida is going to a new home! this is exciting but also a bit odd. I have a rather odd attachment to my first (real) sculpture. not the greatest not the best but it is my art and had generated a somewhat small celebrity status. SHe has been viewed around the world and will now retire from our store front window watching traffic and people pass daily to be enjoyed by someone privately.
This also opens up the avenue of creating a new dragon, a different style. So now I can commence the planning and designing process.
When I start the new dragon I may make a video series cataloging the process from beginning to end. We still have the TREX build its head and neck are on display at our store and as much as I want to finish it, I feel a dragon which is what we are known for should be next on the list.
