If you put some hot glue lines across the inside of those mittens it'll be just like the one you bought the store and if the hot glue comes off you just do it again that's what i'm gonna do when I make mine it gives you a better grip
It depends on how large you want the top. I use 11 which makes the top just over 5 inches after 1/4 in seam allowance. If you want your fabric to hang longer, or if the handle you are putting it on is large, go with the longer. The length of the top is a personal preference. You only need two pieces of fabric.
Wow great job,its beautiful but im so confused....i feel like i missed so much maybe bc you didn't show all of it but regardless GREAT JOB on your project....I also love Sunflowers. God Bless.
You didn't show us where on the piece of fabric that you put the strip that you put the towel in where I'm at, we're on that flat piece of fabric. How many inches down or up?Did you put that strip that goes across there? You didn't show us the measurements.Could you do that
I use one towel, the band is 10 x 7 inches or 12 x 7 depending if you want a longer hanger. The band is 7.5 x 8 folded in half then half again so rough edges are hidden.
The towel is very pretty but as others have said, you were not detailed enough on measurements and how you folded the towel. If you correct these steps it would be a great video. I hope I find the little oven mitts that match as I would like to make those.
This is the pattern designed by Notches Sewing 2 years ago, giving her credit would be nice by posting her link under your video ua-cam.com/video/v-eRoUkyKSQ/v-deo.htmlsi=0HF0dZ4hGfkbLrBm - that would be nice to recognize the time, work and money taken to design it. Thank you.
That is not where I saw this in the first place, but I do appreciate you adding her link. I am aware of her channel and love her work yet I had not seen her version of this.
I like that you simplify the process. Thanks!😊
I love your technique. If I had measurements I would b able to follow your pattern. Very interested in making this beautiful towel project.
They should be in the description
@@diywithjeanne6259 thank you. How many inches do u sew tab on large piece? TIA
I feel you left out steps which makes it hard to follow along. 😕
Measurements are in the description.

When you have the top sewn on the towel, you want to attach the strip about 1/8 inch from the fold or on the opposite end from the towel.
Where do I find the video for the mitts?

It is a beautiful hand towel. I just don’t feel like I learned how to make with you only showing the work after each step is complete.
I appreciate your comments and am working on getting set up with the machine. Do you have any specific questions?
What's the measurement for the band?
6” x 8”, fold the 6” in half and half again to fold the raw edges in. Yo want it 8” across.

I am getting my craft room set up to video while sewing
Very pretty great idea thank you I’m a new subscriber
Welcome, I will have another sewing craft uploaded tomorrow, hope you like it.
I really like the towel
Thank you, they are really easy. I have another idea coming up soon.
The ones I make are very similar to this. The dimensions are a bit different and so are a few steps but same concept. I love sunflowers btw 🌻
Thank you, they are a lot of fun
you really are not teaching when you doing it off camera 😢
I’m not sure watching me sewing is necessary, however, I appreciate your comment. I have plans to have a second set up in my sewing room.
