- Ugurlu Soylu, a bank manager of Turkish descent who lives in Germany, wants to launch an Islamic bank there. But he does not see it as a niche product solely for Muslim customers. It means nothing - they add the risk to the service fee - pure word tricks to fool Allah
You are right. Same idea as the bank taking collateral in a conventional mortgage. Same risk profile.
It means that the interest you pay is calculated as a proportion of your future profits, rather than a percentage of the amount borrowed. This means that it takes into account your ability to pay back. So it is good for the borrower. If your business doesn’t do well, you won’t be excessively burdened by interest payments.
The is being a partner in the risk in almost all banking transactions.
Service charge is better as it shows the full amount you are going to pay them. Interest doesn’t know the amount you have to pay.

Well i don't know exactly what he meant but let me try to give some examples.
When the bank buys the car then the borrower doesn't have to take the car and can for whatever reason, (such as getting sick, changing his mind or getting struck by poverty) opt out.
If the man is late for the agreed-upon payment deadline(such as when he is struck by poverty)
then he doesn't have to pay a penalty or fee(this is riba) and the bank may make a loss.
If the person saves the money and then the bank decides to sell it someone else, then the borrower can't by the car.
