This is super helpful! If using a smartphone rather than a paper ticket, are there machines that need to scan the phone to validate the e-ticket? If buying a 3 day ticket, is it only require 1 scan on day 1 or do you need to scan or validate on each ride?
You did not mention that a lot of Re and Rb trains are covered under the BVG ad the tickets can be used. Mostly you would need ABC ticket. I used it a lot since I had to go to Dallgow- Döberitz to visit relatives.

Nope if you use your phone it automatically validates it like thirty seconds after you purchase and use the ticket

Can the ticket for the U Bahn work on the s bahn and tram after being used for a single journey on the u bahn?
@@everythingerina9379 the ticket is good for all transportation options for “one trip” which is two hours from when you validate it.
Does the 24 hour ABC ticket in the BVG app cover everything? Sbahn/Ubahn/Trams/Buses ?
