🤣So funny about the cast iron. Seemed so crazy that mom gave me a cast iron skillet when I left home. Now,over 40 years later, that skillet is one of my most prized possessions and has moved everywhere that I’ve moved.

Your advice to purchase youth sized sneakers is right on! I happened to have a pair of woman sized sneakers in a shopping cart, went back to look for the same pair in youth size, found them and ended up saving $20.00! Thank you Angela👍🏽

Great advice! I worked part-time for a shoe store for 10 years and I told everyone that would listen that kids shoes are bigger than women sizes!

Agree with the cast iron frying pan. Mine is from my Grandmother and it’s the best!
I inherited several cast iron pans from my portuguese Mother. She is in her 80s and taught me Yes, they need to be cleaned with good old Dawn as you said. Then when clean you can season it with lard or crisco etc. to prevent rusting. Keeping food items stuck on it is just gross. I agree.

Hi Angela,
I totally agree with you concerning cast iron skillets. That’s all my grandparents and mother cooked with. After cooking in my cast iron skillet, I put about 2-3 inches of water in the cast iron skillet and let it simmer on low for about 10-15 minutes, anything that’s stuck to it comes out so easy. Most of the time after you do it this way you will not have to use any dish washing liquid.

Sis!!! I'll be 50 this year and I love your content. 🥰🥰🥰 And, honey, clean that damn skillet!!! Not scrubbing. Put the skillet on high heat with a little water and a few drops of dish soap. Let it bubble, everything you're trying to scrub will come up. If you're impatient, take a spatula and help it do its thing. 💅💅💅

You are so, so, on point with the frying pan, at first, I didn't know which way you were going with it, I did have a bit of a chuckle😉🙃🤣When I moved out of my mom's house, she gave me 3, and I have always known her to wash her pan, just like any pan and I will always continue that practice. As for the sheets, I have some that my Grandmother passed to me, when cotton was truly natural. They have never pilled and feel silky smooth, I used them sooo much, that they feel apart, not ripped apart. I don't know when she purchased them, but I have had them since the last century😉Yes, retinol is a must have, since I started using it, I have truly seen and felt a difference. Enjoy and Thanks😎
I’m turning 40 in a couple of weeks. I have been battling acne since I was 13 and started taking vitamins when I was 19. When I was in my late 20s, I was prescribed tretinoin for my acne, which is a retinoid. I had no idea at the time that retinol was anti aging but since I’ve been battling acne since middle school, a solid skin care routine has been a big part of my life and the reason why I cannot share a bathroom. But I learned that using retinoid at night and sunscreen during the day has kept wrinkles and sagging skin away.
Side note, if anyone is seeking a sunscreen without the cast, use a chemical sunscreen. Also, over 40 folks should incorporate an antioxidant such as Vitamin C in their skin care regimen as well.

I love the Black Girl Sunscreen! I use the SPF 30 on my body and the SPF 45 (the matte version) on my face.
I don't like that sunscreen it tans my face versus keeping or doing it's job as a sunblock

I agree once, I finally purchased a really nice mattress. It was best sleep in the world. I have not found any good pillows yet however, I have one set of nice sheets.

Yes, the cast iron skillet is a must have. I’m seasoning 2 fryer pans and a cast iron griddle. My daughter will be able to use them one day

This weekend I just won a pristine cast iron frying pan during a camping game. The one I have at home is wretched. The first thing I was told was NO soap or Brillo. Just wipe out or scrub with plain steel wool. It was huge conversation this past weekend. 🤣 and here you are talking about them!!!

I have been shopping the kids shoe section especially for sandals for years. My adult shoe size 5 Wide is often hard to find. The kids shoes fit better.

Hi Angela! Thanks for all the great info. By the way I’m over the cast-iron girl have been for a minute. I recently switched to ceramic-just purchased a new Carraway system and I love. No baking no seasoning very low maintenance, easy to clean, completely nonstick-it’s a great set. Definitely grew up with cast-iron and have had my own just got to be a little too much maintenance for me😊

My grandmother gave me a cast iron skillet over 25 years ago. I agree with you wash and grease it. 🤗
Retinol really helped my skin. Just be careful doing other things like derma planing while using it (I learned the hard way). I gave up cleaning the cast iron skillet. My husband INSISTS on his way like production does. January is a great time to get sheets. HUGE home product sales then. Australian Gold makes a tinted SPF that is great for all skin tones.Great video Angela!

I love the tip about the sneakers. I use a liquid multi-vitamin so I absorb all of the nutrients.
I've been getting my sneakers that way for years. Back when you got a second pair half off at Foot Locker. I would by my youngest brother a pair and got myself a new pair too, and a couple times they were free, due to having a special offer. Those days are over, but I still save about $60-$80 days by getting the same shoe in the boy's department. I also had a set of cast iron pots when I left home at 19 and I still us them.
Great shoe hack. Unfortunately it won't work for this size 10 gal. And I never thought to mix my perfumes. I stayed away from owning a cast iron pan b/c of the cleaning debate. 😅 Tfs
