I caught the second half of this game live and it was like this awesome war in-between fallen empires. And now, watching the first half I am seeing the rise and fall of those fallen empires. It's like history in action.
Think this was my favorite game of this series. Awesome map, Core and Drongo had great chemistry casting together, and a game with nonstop twists and turns and so many kings going down that happened unexpectedly.
Usually Core get’s punned wile playing so it’s funny to hear him taking small cracks at Drongo. And for the love of god, I can’t take a normal look at that bottom map without seeing the huge….JOHNSON😂
I wish there was a way to like, temporarily fullscreen the minimap. I always have trouble following the "big picture" of the game and remembering where everyone is.

Those guys with imperial examinations could have hauled in so much tax gold that just sat there instead. Had bee been at like, 600 gold per minute from the officials instead of 100 from the pagodas (Or they had gotten their third pagoda down even) this could have gone in a very different way. Still wild.
I keep hoping someone will be able to find a way to make the Malians work, but even Wam (last game) & Beasty can't do much with them. They definitely feel like one of the weaker civs to get in these free for alls.

I remember Core from Octagon 1 he was spawned all alone in a small island surrounded by water and he holds there so well. That was so intense

mali seems awful in FFA, has anyone playing Mali even got a kill yet they always seem to die super early no matter who plays them

They get focused pretty easily - but if you get a good spot, they can scale pretty nicely

You can make the mini map bigger. It is quite significant
