Honestly I was just listening Aphex Twin’s 28 organ and there was this dude in the comment section saying that after he discovered Aphex everything seems to be of poor quality then another guy replied him with this song, so I thought I should check it out......I’m really glad I found this💫
You know when you find a song you really like, so then you play it on repeat till it becomes boring to you? Well I've been playing this song on repeat for 8 years now and it just never tires me, eargasming every time man...
I didnt finish listening when writing this. OMG, when all the elements come together in a crescendo this track creates a living space of sound. Truly a masterpiece.
In love with this. When those drums kick in towards the middle it's pure bliss. Thank God for James Holden. He's reinvented his sound so many times and it's always genius!
I love how this song is rough around the edges. Every element of the song doesn't quite fit together perfectly, the beat is slightly off and it feels really organic. That's why I love James Holden, he makes electronic music more human.
Way Beyond time ! Made of patterns. After all we are all made of patterns , like the languages we speak and listen too, along like our thoughts in the broader universe, James etches an stratifies the aural art. Catch these projected arts , most importantly catch your time spent within it and just listen . . .
Omg, I never listen that song very well and is so strange, because I never give me the oportunity to listen this song and yes, it's so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the amazing thing about music is that is conjures images of things in the mind. there is a huge amount of music that makes people think about space, which is weird because there is no sound in space at all
12inchvertical Vibrating interacting objects/things/sounds in a void, forming new compositions, forms, flying apart and recombining. It's pretty much the same.. :)
It's like waking up from a dream where you were creating the Earth, then remembering the dream in better detail and wondering how the hell you never realized it was a dream.
For those who are finding resemblances to Tale of Us - Nova. You are not wrong. But this shit is a masterpiece of electronic music. Pleasantly surprised.
In my first listen, I found it a quite hard to keep listening to this, 'cause I inmediatly used to got bored. But now I THINK IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONG.
i have so heavy speech prepared to scream while this song is played it's insane, it starts with me explaining that death is only relieving us from being tied in four dimensions and we can easily travel backward in time and get to know/learn (but both this words are enormously not in place it's like one baby in womb trying to explain to second baby in womb that it will be able to scratch paintings and scratch music after prelife) about things we were curious about when we were alive, and we will be able to travel to other galaxies, other stars, other planets, wait or rewind eons for appearance of intelligent species and be amazed by all of it, by amazing, astonishing, immense beauty of these worlds, their rocks, plants, clouds and suns and we will be able to travel to another universes, with another basic laws of physics, another chemistry, different molecules and periodic table, different math equations, different value of Pi, and all these changes between these worlds, all of it will happen only by force of Your raw will with no need of a body, because it is stronger than rocks and stars, and it binds us like we were bound when we were all hydrogen
i see you bro. thanks for sharing your philosophical thoughts, i can relate! much love and praise the insignificance we small humans contribute to the whole galaxy and everything that is and ever will be
just found this through Jake Chudnow's channel. Music like his makes me want to explore my own mind. get it down on paper. sometimes it drives me to madness looking for more.
It reminds me of a Russian TV show I used to watch when I was a kid about a bunny and a wolf, kind of like Tom and Jerry. It basically reminds me of my childhood D':
Thanks, i draw, and like a lot the style of the russian cartoons, it´s totally different of what i saw here in south america when i was a child, mostly USA cartoons.
@@Faith_Plus_One That would be so strange! Image living in a time where there is no electronic music whatsoever, and you would hear this. I wonder how people would react to it.
@@yurikeukens4148 probably would think "what kind of sorcery is that" ... I think that they would associate it with African tribe music or something like that.
This Renata is clearly a woman with a difficult character :) This track is like an aggressive stream of melodic improvisation just like a stormy river.
The fact that true art like this, does not get more attention, makes me nihilistic. I don't think people have the slightest idea on how hard it is to make drums sound like that. It takes an IQ well above 140, and a shit load of time. It is almost impossible. You were right, James.. The idiots are winning....

In the history of music there are moments...
thanks for so much knowledge, it is such a great fact that my daughter is called Renata for this song, thanks Holden

I can feel my brain forming new connections when I listen to this. Renata is a luck lady
Why thank you.
I know Renata, she has five children
@@DracoVolantus Whos retana
my brain could not comprehend the magnitude of this audio visual artwork, so it brought me to tears
Wow
So mad I'm only discovering this now while diving into the world of electronic music. Such amazing shapes are created with sounds here. Very inspiring

That part when all the hi hats and perc come in, one of the best things I've ever heard in a club. Like there's SO MUCH AIR in there.
this song brings out an intense yet indescribable feeling
This song is a window into another world...bravo Holden.
My wife is named Renata and we both thoroughly enjoyed your special set in Prague last night! ♥️
In love with this. When those drums kick in towards the middle it's pure bliss. Thank God for James Holden. He's reinvented his sound so many times and it's always genius!
Holden's best track ever, IMHO.

The “release” at 4:57… fantastic!
This is beyond any of us...
I like how aphex avatar says that
As Max Cooper or Nicolas Jaar, i love the way Mr. Holden always gets a destructural track wich sounds awesome !
Apparently if you accelerate a human being to beyond the speed of light this is the sort of stuff that they start hearing

Au début je ne comprendrais pas ce virage dans la musique de James Holden (hi James if you read this)
Maintenant et dix ans après je l’adore….
