The thing that I noticed about these mirrors is everybody loves them when they are closed because they look great but then your mirrors are gone. When you do put them up you only have half a mirror and they don't look sleek anymore.
I just installed these Rizoma mirrors on my 24 s1000rr. A note for those that are about to pull the trigger on one. You will not have the visibility of the stock mirrors. Not even close. Does it look bad ass? Yes! Is it a quality product? Yes! For those that complain about the price, you get what you pay for. If you spend 30k on a bike, why would you go cheap on accessories? I keep mine flipped down so it's just like a blade. As a matter of fact, I didn't even take the sticker off the mirror portion. Looking at them, it just looks like another winglett. When paired with the Rizoma turn signals....👍
Nice. I was considering them. One of my friends told me they're useless even though they look cool and I am better off taking off the mirrors altogether.
One of the coolest mods that makes it so you can't see behind you. I think I'd just go with mirror block offs at this point, but the stock mirrors don't look bad and they have nice high visible blinkers so no need to change them.
@@hobelmotorsports yeah seeing well behind you is super important on a motorcycle. I've got the same bike and love it. Slapping on some Pirelli Rosso 3's tomorrow. Had the Dunlop q4 and they were useless in the rain and wore out way too quickly
@@hobelmotorsports This is what I've been looking for. They look so good! But If I can't comfortable see what I need to out of them then it's not really worth it, especially at that price
It’s pretty damn good on track, but it’s pretty damn useless on the road. I mostly put em on when I park my bike in the living room during winter month and swap em out in spring😂😂
Instead of buying a new bike I decided to spend a little upgrading the Red Rocker this winter. Found a set of these for half price and am going to see what I can see installed. Fresh mods have definitely jumped WAY up since I originally built my bike originally but there is no note coming in the mail.
I have just learned to do a tuck or a chicken wing with my arms a lot with these installed, and honestly they don’t seem much worse than stock mirrors to me. I love these mirrors, but I don’t blame anyone for not being comfortable with them.
I feel that, the main thing that ruined it for me was not being able to Mount my 360 cam to them. I also was kinda bummed at having to bend my elbow to see lol
I think what made it ok for me was I compared it to handlebar mirrors, which I hate, and for me make me super uncomfortable. At the end of the day though, that’s just a secondary reference for situational awareness before turning your head. Good vid
Hey ! Thanks for the video ! I only see bad comments on how you won't see sh*t with these mirrors but they are definitely the sexiest ;) Did you find a cleaner way to manage the cable ? Again, thanks for the quick install video ;)
Just seeing the price now...these mirrors will cost you $500. Even though it makes sense for S100RR owners to over-pay a little bit, i cant/wont contribute to price gouging. A fair price for these mirrors would be around $279 IMO. Have you found any other options for the S1000 you think are cool? My GXSR mirrors wouldnt look bad until i locate an option (getting close to winter here) but sadly im SURE they wont fit. looking into it today.....hey how much for the old mirrors :) Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for your comment bro! And yeah I am inclined to agree with you. On top of that I actually didn’t like these abs have been running stock since the days I made this video 😂 I returned the rizomas
@@hobelmotorsports Hell man, sorry they didnt work out for you. I thought they looked pretty sick on your bike....its just the price for me i think. anyway stock looks pretty good too. GXSR style is what im used to.
The pricing is fine. I'm just too safety consious to reduce visibility ont he street. I think they could make them bigger to increase downforce and look, while giving me a full wide view of the road.
For real tho 😂 I took everything out of the box and kept it fairly clean and neat so it was easy to pack up. Return policy accepted, I just had to pay return shipping which was nbd. Enjoying the stock ones again 🫡

100% this. I swapped them back same day. I did NOT like the rizomas at all and I kinda like the OEM

Thats awesome !!
I’ve been contemplating on getting these and I just can’t convince myself to pay almost $500 for a winglet/half of a mirror visibility.
It was horrible. Took them off same day haha
@@hobelmotorsports maybe it they were $50$-100 and that’s a big maybe I would get them. But for $450+ I coud spend that money on a nice exhaust

For anyone that is looking for the brackets they are called the "Rizoma Leggaera Turn Signal Mount" just fyi

I would prefer to put Rizoma Namic mirrors, they would work a lot better and they do look so good on super bikes
I’ll take a look at those! Thank you

I mainly use mirrors to see my “blindspots.”
Best idea - leave it as stock. After market useless mirrors and indicators in useless position!

One fall on this bike these mirror would break easy
U don't have to be an electrician to do this, u have to use your brain
