To address if God hears out prayers, let me tell you how i was an athiest for around three years. And then one morning i prayed to God asking Him to watch over me. The next day, one of my mom's uncle brought his sister in law(a woman of God) to have a time of prayer. Then we began to pray and she laid her hands on my head and told me God heard my prayers yesterday. She told me God had held me by a thread when im about to fall down a cliff(i had stop praying and told my family who are all Christians that God doesn't exist and He wasnt real). Since then, my faith and walk with God has been awesome.
God hears all our prayers. :)

could you tell me more about how God did not give up on you even when all guilt left you? i have often wondered how some could do such great harm to me, and i have forgiven them, but i wonder if one or at all they feel guilt about it, and if i may never know then that is fine, i would just then wonder if they will or can be saved or if it is possible for them to receive help one day, or if they are truly lost forever.

    • @pdworld3421
      @pdworld3421 11 місяців тому +4

@Thleta its really a long story but in short, I wasnt convinced God existed nor was i looking for him. I guess i was agnostic, caught in habitual sin for many years. At first I felt tremendous guilt. Little by little I felt less and less. And one day, I felt nothing at all. As time went on, I continued in this horrible life style. I became more and more selfish and self centered. I had no friends. I really had no life. I had given up on life. Then my mom got sick and out of necessity, I took care of her. Out of pure despiration I cried our to God and he answered me. Mind you, I didn't believe in God. I simply had noone else I could turn to. I never ever thought I would get a response.
After that I found prayers on the internet and I started saying them... religiously and I had more experiences. After my mom died, I joined a Catholic church. I was anti catholic for most of my life but that's where God led me so that's where I went. Now, this is the honest truth- I went to one confession with a priest.i confessed my sins. The priest told me to say 3 hail Mary's. I thought nothing of it at the time but a month later I realized, i had lost all desire for the sin I had been so caught up in. And that desire has never returned. It's been 6 years.

@Thleta one more thing- No One is lost forever. God's love and mercy never ceases. I will recommend. If you or they are against Catholicism, if you know someone who is struggling with something, give the Andrew Murray's Rapture Prayer. I prayed it for about 6 months before my mom died and I think it opened me up to healing and to being able to draw close to God or for God to draw close to me.

@@Thleta The rapture prayer is long. But if you have trouble praying- any prayer will do for a start. Or simply saying the Lord's name. Bottom line, God created us to be worshippers to Him. Too many people attend church to get a feeling, leaving emotionally uplifted but we are to worship Him, not expecting anything because we don’t deserve anything from Him. Only if we have totally given ourselves to Jesus, can God see us as righteous through Jesus.

Nobody has ever been saved by giving their life to Christ.
Salvation is anything but a free gift of you must give your all to attain it.
That is bartering your life for salvation and is a Satanic counterfeit gospel message.
We are saved because He gave His life for us and we trust Him alone for salvation.
Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

    8 Things Jesus said:
"The world hates me because I testify about it that it's works are evil"
"Don't be surprised when the world hates you, it hated me first"
"If any man looks at a woman with lust he has already committed adultery in his heart with her."
"Unless you eat my body and drink my blood you have no life in you"
"Those that believe the Son have eternal life, those that do not obey the Son will not see life but the wrath of God abides on them"
"Unless you believe in me you will die in your sins"
"Unless you repent you will likewise perish"
    Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
(a yoke is a collar worn by cattle, it is the point where the ropes are attached allowing them to pull a plow or a cart.)

    • @Malhaloc
      @Malhaloc Рік тому +3

@jasonnoble7302 Yes and no. It's about how open you are to receiving God. God knows your heart, He knows your mind. If there's an opening, God can work through it and draw you closer to Him. If you're completely closed off, God will respect that and leave you alone.
So it's God who draws you in, but it's up to you how receptive you want to be.

      @@Malhaloc
      I’m confused 😐
Why would God create me in such a way as to not have an opening in my heart ?
See, I don’t believe the Christian God exists. I don’t believe because of the problem of evil. The fact that a God makes no predictions. The fact that the Christian God is considered to be a good action person but permits not good things to occur every second.
Look, if the Christian God exists I’m here to accept that. However, what makes the most sense to me is that this Christian God just doesn’t exist.
I’m not new. I’ve done just about everything asked of me by believers and I’m still an atheist.
      It’s easy to say
Well Jason you’re just not wanting the Christian God to exist. You’re happy in your sin. Bla bla bla
But the reality is I’m just not convinced any of these religious stories that claim knowledge of Gods are true.
So why doesn’t God convince me he exists?
I want God to convince me he exists
      There
      I said it
      Now what 🤷‍♂️

@jasonnoble7302 Good questions. Sorry if this response is a bit lengthy. Such is the nature of this type of discussion. I'm on my phone, which doesn't allow me to copy/paste your responses. So, I'll be paraphrasing when I quote you to make it more expedient on my end.
"Why would God create me in such a way..."
He didn't create you as a non-believer. Children are very open to the supernatural. It's society that teaches them that the supernatural isn't real. God didn't create you to be an atheist. Your atheism is the result of you accepting the teachings of our secular society. Now, obviously, I don't know you, and I could be wrong about your circumstances. Please correct me if that is the case.
"I don't believe because of the problem of evil."
The Christian God said there would be evil in this world because most of the world rejects Him. Why does the existence of evil, then, cause you to disbelieve?
      "God makes no predictions."
God makes many predictions, all of which have or will eventually come to pass. A current example would be the Euphrates drying up. It was predicted in Revelation, and we see it happening now.
"I want God to convince me that He exists"
Good. And I won't question your motives or past attempts. I'm sure you're genuine. Have you tried just being honest with God? "God, I don't know who you are or even if you exist. If you do, please show me in a way that I can understand." Have you done that?
And follow up question: If God did convince you that He exists, what would that mean to you?

It is misleading and inaccurate to describe the Gospel as just forgiveness. God does not *_just_* forgive us. Instead, He is able to forgive us because our *sin debt* was paid by Christ. Without Christ first paying our debt, there is *NO FOREGIVING OF OUR SINS!*
This is the absolute crux of the Gospel, and unless Cliffe shared that information with that man later, ( _but for some unimaginable reason, chose to not include it in this edit of the video,_ ) then Cliffe did us and the man a disservice by presenting an inaccurate Gospel message.
In human terms, one could use an illustration such as...
A man acquired so many unpaid parking tickets that a judge is forced to issue a warrant for his arrest. The police bring the man before the judge and the judge tells him,
_You must pay a $500 fine or else you will be jailed for 90 days._
The man then tells the judge,
_Your honor, I am very sorry. I know that it was wrong for me to park illegally, but I have no money to my name._
The judge has compassion on the man and so he wishes to set the man free. However, he cannot ignore the fines if he wishes to be a just judge. So, the judge takes off his robe and steps down from his bench. He then takes his wallet out of his pocket, takes out $500 and hands it to the bailiff. He then returns to the bench, puts on his robe and declares,
_This man's debt has been paid in full and is free to go._
This illustrates our salvation, as we have violated God's law and death is the penalty. Jesus who is God the Son, having love and compassion comes down from Heaven to be born of a virgin, live a sinless life, then suffer and die on a cross to pay our debt to God. We then place our faith in His blood sacrifice for our sins and we are forgiven and given new life in Christ.
