Well said Amy Elizabeth, you’re absolutely right about comparison, trend and quality and everything else. I’m so sick of some of this people dictating what’s trendy and what’s not! The pillow tabby happens to be a gorgeous and well crafted beautiful piece and some of this people look down upon it because the “IT Bag” as they call it happens to be Coach.

I love your explanation for your collection!! I feel the same way about mine! I like quality bags and unfortunately my lower cost bags are very great quality in comparison to my higher priced items. Both bags are gorgeous! I can’t wait until I get my hands on the pillow tabby. I think for me the only reason why I’m waiting for a sale is because I know it will go on sale. I definitely feel you. Why do we pay 4-5x as much for a bag that’s 1/2 the quality? I have a few high end bags just because I can’t help but need to stunt sometimes lol. But that coach bag is amazing. I love my Parker’s and my Riley’s and rogues. YES!!! I sure do wish people would catch on. I have loved Coach for years! It’s definitely a quality luxe brand...IMO Sadly many ppl don’t think or consider it luxury since it’s not a European brand. I don’t have Gucci, LV or Chanel, but I am very happy with all my Coach. Thanks for the comparison, now I’m off to find a pillow tabby! 😆

I still love the Gucci marmont especially the mini size - I like the single compartment and ability to wear it over the shoulder and crossbody without having to attach or detach straps. I love the old vintage coach leather so much more than the newer ones, but I totally agree that Coach has some beautiful and functional pieces. It’s crazy that Chanel an LV prices keep increasing when their stitching and quality continues to decrease. Tory Burch also makes fantastic bags. ❤️❤️

Gurl.... gurl...gurl! Damn! ON FLIPPING POINT GODDESS! YES! First of all, Coach was my first love and I fell because of the vintage Coach leathers... They are amazing. As of late, the brand is most definitely back to its roots and rocking it. I personally love the Coach Originals. You are totally right. I do not go by trends I buy what I like. Usually they are classic pieces. I saw that PIllow Tabby in green and fell hard. I then got the orange and the taffy pink. You are also very right about the price point. I did not wait "until they went on sale" because I know waiting would mean that I would not get the colors I really wanted and then they would be gone. For the price point at 500 per bag, they are totally and completely well worth the price tag, perfectly on point, AND yes, I actually bought the orange one for 150 MORE because it was sold out everywhere by the time I realized these even existed. So hell yes, Coach is worth every damn penny. I also feel really good about purchasing Coach, whether it is on sale and I score it, or full price because it is also worth it. They make amazing quality products. I am a leather girl. I love love love the leather on the outside and inside of the bag. No microsuede, no fabric lined, just beautiful gorgeous glove tanned or nappa leathers. I never even thought to compare to the Marmont.You are right. If the bag had another logo on it, it would have been sold out. However, Coach was on point with this item and these colors are gone in less than 3 months after the release. I love the ones the I got. Get bags that you love and are well made and make you feel good when you wear them. If it does not make you feel amazing, then it is not the bag for you. Sell it off and wear what makes you happy, not what is on trend. I can see this Pillow Bag becoming a lovely long lasting classic piece. I am excited to see that.

I’m with you on that trend stuff. If people base their bags with what’s in trend, they’ll be changing every other month (really week). You’re the reason I got the Emery in that beige color❤️ I had the original and wore that thing out by the early 2000s to the point of what I thought was no return. I sold it about 7 years ago BIG MISTAKE because the leather was that buttery leather. These styles come and go. My husband says I have no brand loyalty because I love my coach, DEFINITELY Dooney as well as Gucci and LV. Great video

I say this a lot but it’s true when I say it. But People sleep on Coach. They have beautiful products that are all handcrafted out of Imported leathers and are made to last a life time. I have vintage Coach bags that have been passed down and they have survived soo much. I feel Coach is gonna make a come back.

OMG you are so funny and 100% right that if that Coach bag had FF or LV or TB it would be $2000 more just for those initials. Coach was my first designer bag when I was 35. Coach is an AMAZING brand and holds their own compared to these “high end” brands. AND COACH has never compromised it’s integrity nor walked away from what works for them. I own SEVERAL Coach bags but the Pillow Tabby just isn’t for me. The way I accidentally bump up against and get hung around stuff i would be terrified to puncture a hole in it. Now with that said I would purchase it BEFORE I would purchase the Marmont bag. Style is individual. Ms. Amy you carry that bag as long as you won’t too and give the haters a twirl when they try to come for you! I used my coach tabby for the first time yesterday and wow, I felt like a million dollars and now I want it in more colours ;) I also have a wide range of higher priced end brands and I felt just as special in the coach !!!!

I have so many “luxury” oops I’m sorry “high price end” 😂bags but when I started purchasing the 1941 bags in 2017-2018 I was floored and I can’t really turn back. My Chanel boy bag is not made half as well. It’s got a fabric lining that’s nothing special and plastic zippers and was $5500. Ill never get rid of it cause it’s that mermaid oil slick one but ill never buy Chanel new again unless they step up their quality again. 🥺
I got the cream one and love it. And I agree it’s very comparable to my green Marmont. I also bought the Marmont when Instagram considered it was “over”. Lol They sit right next to each other in my closet lol 😂 And yep I wear whatever whenever. And I like all the brands. I Feel great in chanel and feel great in coach. My coach collection is the largest though because it’s affordable It’s best to always buy what you love and just wear it. In 3 months or less Instagram will move on from the tabby to something new guaranteed.

You are speaking straight facts and this is a great comparison video...I have couture bags too BUT I freakin' love Coach and will always rock their bags, I could careless about people's opinions on "fashion"!!! The leather, the hardware and the quality plus their timeless styles are amazing. I have the Gucci Marmont bag too...and like you I purchased it on Fashionphile for the low. The Coach Pillow Tabby is definitely the better purchase...that's why I got 4 of them lol!!!
Very happy with my pillow tabby:D such a nice bag! The magnet is a little finicky but you don’t have to close it to carry it:D the 19 does the same thing where the flap doesn’t cover the opening!! It bothers me as well!

I have many bags from coach many of them aged 20 years. Once I stepped in a Coach boutique the young handsome manager screamed " omg, you still have the hampton bag and look like new" I did not realize I was wearing my hampton. Yes, Coach and Dooney bourke last forever. I let the college girl my daughter borrowed many my bags when she moved away to school. Now making good money she doesn't want them anymore and they turned ugly after being mistreated. I brought them all home, threw in the washer and washed them. Hang dried and applied leather conditioner from coach. They revived like new, color stay vibrant and beautiful. Leather remain soft and smell good. I recently wore one of them to errands, many people stopped me to compliment my bag as it was 20 years old style and discontinued. FYI Coach and Dooney bourke leather bags can be washed in the washer. Mine are so dirty and spotty with stains from being on loan over 10 years with that student daughter. After the wash and conditioner, they came back clean and beautiful like NEW. Am not exaggerating. Do LV, Gucci, and the high end brands survive in the washer. Am curious. We pay for the logo (but to be honest I still love my LV and Gucci and not for loan!) Love your presentation. Very accurate and informative. Take care 💕
I agree!! Why doesn’t the flap go over the entire bag?! I noticed it immediately. On the body, the open sides stick out so much. I like the super mini better, but it’s overpriced. For $2300+, the bag has to be perfect or have a flaw I can live with. The open side flaps on the Gucci was dealbreaker for me. Coach ftw! I’m a Coach girl also.

I say this a lot but it’s true when I say it. But People sleep on Coach. They have beautiful products that are all handcrafted out of Imported leathers and are made to last a life time. I have vintage Coach bags that have been passed down and they have survived soo much. I feel Coach is gonna make a come back.

OMG you are so funny and 100% right that if that Coach bag had FF or LV or TB it would be $2000 more just for those initials. Coach was my first designer bag when I was 35. I wasn't wearing designer bags before then like these spoiled 20 year olds, lol. Now I'm in a position to purchase higher end bags but I still will buy a Coach if I like it:)

Coach is an AMAZING brand and holds their own compared to these “high end” brands. AND COACH has never compromised it’s integrity nor walked away from what works for them.
I own SEVERAL Coach bags but the Pillow Tabby just isn’t for me. The way I accidentally bump up against and get hung around stuff i would be terrified to puncture a hole in it. Now with that said I would purchase it BEFORE I would purchase the Marmont bag.
Style is individual. Ms. Amy you carry that bag as long as you won’t too and give the haters a twirl when they try to come for you!

I used my coach tabby for the first time yesterday and wow, I felt like a million dollars and now I want it in more colours ;)
I also have a wide range of higher priced end brands and I felt just as special in the coach !!!!
This video gave me goosebumps lol!! Coach girl too since the 6th grade lol and I also really adore Tory Burch. I have so many “luxury” oops I’m sorry “high price end” 😂bags but when I started purchasing the 1941 bags in 2017-2018 I was floored and I can’t really turn back. I finally got a pillow tabby and a pillow Madison this spring and my heart just skips a beat every time I grab them!! Love love love ❤️

My Chanel boy bag is not made half as well. It’s got a fabric lining that’s nothing special and plastic zippers and was $5500. Ill never get rid of it cause it’s that mermaid oil slick one but ill never buy Chanel new again unless they step up their quality again. 🥺
I got the cream one and love it. And I agree it’s very comparable to my green Marmont. I also bought the Marmont when Instagram considered it was “over”. Lol They sit right next to each other in my closet lol 😂
And yep I wear whatever whenever. And I like all the brands. I Feel great in chanel and feel great in coach. My coach collection is the largest though because it’s affordable
It’s best to always buy what you love and just wear it. In 3 months or less Instagram will move on from the tabby to something new guaranteed.

You are speaking straight facts and this is a great comparison video...I have couture bags too BUT I freakin' love Coach and will always rock their bags, I could careless about people's opinions on "fashion"!!! The leather, the hardware and the quality plus their timeless styles are amazing. I have the Gucci Marmont bag too...and like you I purchased it on Fashionphile for the low. The Coach Pillow Tabby is definitely the better purchase...that's why I got 4 of them lol!!!

Very happy with my pillow tabby:D such a nice bag! The magnet is a little finicky but you don’t have to close it to carry it:D the 19 does the same thing where the flap doesn’t cover the opening!! It bothers me as well!

I have many bags from coach many of them aged 20 years. Once I stepped in a Coach boutique the young handsome manager screamed " omg, you still have the hampton bag and look like new" I did not realize I was wearing my hampton. Yes, Coach and Dooney bourke last forever. I let the college girl my daughter borrowed many my bags when she moved away to school. Now making good money she doesn't want them anymore and they turned ugly after being mistreated. I brought them all home, threw in the washer and washed them. Hang dried and applied leather conditioner from coach. They revived like new, color stay vibrant and beautiful. Leather remain soft and smell good. I recently wore one of them to errands, many people stopped me to compliment my bag as it was 20 years old style and discontinued. FYI Coach and Dooney bourke leather bags can be washed in the washer. Mine are so dirty and spotty with stains from being on loan over 10 years with that student daughter. After the wash and conditioner, they came back clean and beautiful like NEW. Am not exaggerating. Do LV, Gucci, and the high end brands survive in the washer. Am curious. We pay for the logo (but to be honest I still love my LV and Gucci and not for loan!)

I agree!! Why doesn’t the flap go over the entire bag?! I noticed it immediately. On the body, the open sides stick out so much. I like the super mini better, but it’s overpriced. For $2300+, the bag has to be perfect or have a flaw I can live with. The open side flaps on the Gucci was dealbreaker for me. Coach ftw! I’m a Coach girl also.
