Aha I know. A 12 mile hike depending on terrain is a standard from completion. It's the standard finish for when I was completing the royal Marine course. They finish your training on this. All the lads I was with completed it and by this point in the training it's usually a breeze for anyone who keeps up their fitness. Failing on the final hike would've been seen as a bit of a embarrassment.
