  • We just finished up our first week of a 3-month Balkan road trip and we couldn't be more excited. We spent a total of 6 nights in Bosnia, which was one of our favorite countries from last year's travels. We spent 3 nights in Banja Luka, which was a cute city, although not our favorite. There was some beautiful nature there and tons of beautiful buildings.
We also were able to explore Krupa waterfalls, Jajce waterfall, and Sarajevo.
Sarajevo is the capital city of Bosnia and somewhere we couldn't wait to see. The city is so vibrant and full of many beautiful squares, mosques, and buildings. We loved walking around the bazaar streets and had some amazing cevapi. The city itself is very walkable and so full of life.
Unfortunately, we didn't make it to everything we were planning, including the two fortresses. But we did make it to the Avaz Twist Tower, which is the tallest building in Bosnia. The views over the city were breathtaking and it was definitely worth the walk.
We can't wait to return to Bosnia and Sarajevo will definitely be on the list of cities to return to.
    Thanks for watching!
