  • Unrest like that seen in July 2021 may happen again as the causes have still not been addressed.
    The South African Human Rights Commission has revealed this at the Gauteng launch of its report on the unrest in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal three years ago.
    Unpacking the report, Provincial Commissioner, Tshepo Madlingozi, says there can't be social cohesion without reparation and re-distribution.
