There is great durable cradle for that tablet that powers it by the spring contacts. USB is really not the way to go. I have mounted the cradle to my Africa Twin GPS bar using 12mm hydraulic clamp and 4 rubber vibration spceers/dampers. Simple and reliable. Will try that app too. Thanks.
@@G-MansWorld It is RAM mount. Mine is not lockable, but there is also an option with a lock. I have not used any of the RAM ball mounts or arms to mount it, just the 12mm hydraulic clamp with 2 aluminium plates spaced with a vibration dampeners. You will notice ugly bulge at the bottom of the cradle where are the spring contacts and power connector. You can open it, desolder the barel connector and solder the wires directly to it. That enabled me to cut shorter that housing so it is not covering the view of my speed gauge.
@@fibranijevidra check this out .....maybe even better so far it works ok but I am worried a little about the USB because of vibration over time. I might spend the money for a better cradle soon Flex II Cradle Kit For Samsung Galaxy TAB ACTIVE 2 (T397, T390) Tablet
@@G-MansWorld I have just seen it. Bit overcomplicated and expensive. Tab 2 alone cost less than the mount. I am still for the simplest RAM cradle without a lock. Inexpensive and reliable. I just take off the tab and bring it with me when I am at the places where don`t feel safe.
I don't have SOS you can install apps like OsmAnd or buy the offline Maps in the DMD2 app. I personally like the offline Maps from OsmAnd a lot more. But that is actually a nice feature you can install external android apps and have them on your dashboard.
Keren... Selain koneksi OBD2, bisa juga setting manual
