Ame: Having Bubba on her lap as she refreshes her email account every 5 seconds and starts to lose hope, only for the message to finally pop up and she is surprised and happy. So happy she starts lifting Bubba up
Gura: Just pacing in the kitchen probably getting some water to ease the tension. She hears the notification of her email and checks. She gets surprised and quickly shows it to her mom.
Ina: This clip gives it the best description of what her reaction would be lol
Kiara: Crying alone in her apartment with no light. She checks the acceptance email and wipes her tears away and smiles
Calli was probably the easiest hire decision. The way the marketing material at the beginning placed her as the center girl also suggests Cover expected her to be big. No one knew that the tiny shark would be the one to break all records.
They were partially correct tho. The only measure by which Gura is ahead of Calli (and every other Vtuber for that matter) is sub count. Unfortunately her subscribers are either less generous or less wealthy since somehow Calli, despite having less than half the subs has about 40% more superchat revenue. If we factor in Callis music career, like her getting signed with Universal, having live concerts and such, then she's definitely gotten "bigger" than Gura has.
I find this interesting since one would logically think that a higher subcount would result in a higher superchat revenue if all else are equal. But that has not panned out for the Shark for some reason to the point that even Sakamata Chloe who debut over a year later and has less than a quarter of her subs has overtaken her.
I suspect that the reason for this might be that Gura may have an unusually high percentage of more casual fans who are not committed enough to superchat compared to most other holomembers.
@@ach3909 Well, Gura might not have superchat numbers, but her merch purchases broke records. Her Dino Gura plushie is considered the most bought item from the Hololive store.

You don't really expect anything when you superchat, maybe at most a birthday song sung to you by the talent.
A casual might be more comfortable sending monetary support through merch purchases rather than a superchat, since they'd actually get a physical object in return.

I assume Gura in general has a younger audience which normally doesn't have that much money to spend.
I think Kiara was among the most superchatted despite having the lowest sub count and her audience is a bit older, I think.
But it makes sense: one 30 year old with a stable income and money to spare can "outperform" 50 kids that are still in school or college when it comes to superchatting.
@@7shinta7 That's one possibility I didn't consider. Not being a kid, (or a young person in general) I didn't know how much appeal Guras content has towards younger audiences.

So the bad ending was Ina rejected the audition but saw the timeline where she got in so the rejected Ina tried to destroy that timeline but Ame stopped her by reversing the time

That’s pretty crazy calli got in instantly. And they waited on gura considering who she was and what she was going to become. Also surprising they waited on ina considering her raw art talent as well.
Calli was always set-up as the centre, you could tell she was supposed to be the "main". This always happens with groups, they build it around one person. Goes to show that nobody expected the Goomba.

Yeah I swear she mentioned that, i think it was a recent holotalk? or a collab with a JP member.
Yes she mention about it on stream a few times the group approach her and ask if she wanted to join them but she rejected them due to the fact that it wasn't her favorite idol group but instead their rivals.
pretty sure she has also told the 2nd story as well. the 3rd one i remember her talking about it to Kanata iirc since they bonded over the rival idol company

It could discourage other clipper from subtitling clips, and I dont think that's something we want. A softer approach can encourage them more than just asking them to learn english 🤣 .
