  • ALOO KHEEMA PULAO
    Chicken Kheema (Minced Chicken) - 475 gm
    Potatoes (Aloo) - 400 gms (2 Medium)
    Onions - 300 gms (2 Medium)
    Garlic Paste (Lehsun) - 3 tbsp
    Ginger Paste (Adrak) - 1 tbsp
    Mint Leaves (Pudina) - ¼ cup
    Cumin Seeds (Zeera) - 2 tsp
    Basmati Rice- 2 Cups
    Pepper Powder (Kali Mirchi) - ¼ tsp
    Coriander Cumin Powder (Dhania Zeera) - 1 tsp
    Green Cardamom (Elaichi) - 4
    Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi)- 1
    Cloves (Laung) - 4
    Bayleaf (Tejpatta) - 2
    Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini) - 1 (4 inch)
    Kashmiri Red Chilly (Whole)- 4
    Red Chilly Powder (Lal Mirchi) - ½ tsp
    Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
    Curry Powder or Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
    Coconut Milk Powder - 2 tbsp
    Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
    White Vinegar - 1 tbsp
    Ghee
    Salt as per taste
    Tip:
    1. For each cup of rice I use approximately one teaspoon of table salt.
    2. Cook aloo kheema pulao on low to medium flame for approximately 22 mins or till done.
