Historic hotels and theatres, old churches, cathedrals, and basilicas, all kinds of neat places. I was allowed to explore as long as I stayed out of trouble. I did a short animated film for my final project in college just last year, I was studying 3d animation and cgi. this type of music was a huuge inspiration, I was trying to give this exact vibe. love it!

Some of the hotel hallways have a bit of an Edwardian style and the RMS Titanic was built in the Edwardian era (1901-1914) which could explain why some of the hallway designs look like it’s from the Titanic. Some hallways like the 2nd one that was shown gives off a bit of a Harry Potter vibe to me because of how the 2nd one looks almost like an area of Hogwarts like the dining hall of the Magic School which has a gothic style. The Overlook hotel would have originally have had an Edwardian era hotel considering that it was built in 1909, it would then change into a postwar era hotel after being renovated by Horace Derwent after World War 2 as confirmed by Stuart Ullman.

Simply spell-binding, you could play this at almost any moment of the "shining" and not spot even a bit of disorderliness with the scene. This and maybe the addition of Al Bowley's The Midnight, Stars, and you would make this the perfect eerie ominous playlist

(If you haven’t watched seen one flew- I recommend the watch heavily. Both Jack Nicholson and Benjamin Crothers make an appearance)
