BCCI as a non profit organization don't pay taxes to the government but their revenue is increasing year by year. So I think it's BCCI's moral duty to support other sports and make world class infrastructure so that we as a country can succeed in the Olympic games as well.

ICL was the first frenchise cricket tournament.
Most New Zealand players were part of ICL.
Based on the model of ICL, IPL was started. Initially BCCI did not like the T20 format. Eventually they promote this format...
Correction: any tournament will be called as "franchise/league" only if the national cricket board of the country RECOGNIZE it. Bcci never did it... so ICL was considered as a REBEL tournament...also the players in ICL were banned from international cricket eg : ambani raydu and Abhishek jhunjhunwala.

ICC is earning a humongous amount of money from IPL. Also, Pak is salty coz their own PSL looks nothing infront of IPL in terms of not only players but now also monetary value.
Of tomorrow PSL will become a huge value tournament, even Pak cricket board will ask for window for PSL. Then they'll forget about tests, odi etc. It's all about money.

70 % of ICC income is contributed by Indian market. According to the admission of Ramiz Raja, 0 % of ICC income is from Pakistani market. All ICC income is then shared with ICC members. Countries like Pakistan, that hardly contribute anything to ICC earning get a sizeable amount from ICC which ICC has earned mainly from Indian market.
So, if PCB tries to be spoilsport, then BCCI should remind ICC and PCB that cricket boards can be expelled from ICC if their countries follow objectionable policies. South African cricket board was expelled from ICC in 1970 for Apartheid policy of South African government. They were readmitted to ICC only in 1991 after South Africa gave up the policy of Apartheid.
Today Pakistan is following the state policy of terrorism. So let Pakistan be expelled from ICC. That will automatically disqualify Pakistan from getting any money from Indian market via ICC.
