10 Hours of Jammin Music for NES/Famicom

- We all know Rockman rocks, but plenty of other songs rock on the nes too. Thats why I put together this video.
Turns out Konami was king by the quality and sheer number of soundtracks they released. The European style is always interesting with its crazy arpeggios, and Tim Follin at Software Creations was a master. Then there was the thick sounds that Sunsoft gave us with their DPCM bass.
If you don't care for the visuals you can always turn the quality down or use an audio only extension.

45:40 - Never heard of "Target; Renegade" before, but this song started playing and I went "wait a second this is Tim Follin music" and, yup. Amazing how certain artists have a signature sound that stands out so much, even in just a handful of channels of beeps and boops.
whenever you see software creations in this list, you know it'll be some follin brothers excellence
Can you believe 8:34:30 is the only copyright claim? (so far...)
Is this still true? :)
@@plaguis1391 Yep
@42:41 Captain Tsubasa 2 - Team Toho
@1:07:37 Journey to Silius
Found this by accident. I have to say its a very good list and I was honestly surprised to find obscure games I played as a kid that it seemed like nobody knew about on the list. (Codename Viper and Power Blade are just two) Hope you have more of these cuz this was awesome.
Codename Viper is awesome, dude. I love that game
6:33 My favorite NES theme ever, alongside Level 5 from the same game
4:37:51
My favorite theme!
08:10:22 Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku :: Ball game 👍👍👍
09:06:32 Almana no Kiseki :: Stages 1, 4, 6 👍👍
最高の作業用BGM。編集ありがとう!
Nice compilation! A fun game you can play with this video is to click around to random points, find a song you haven't heard before, and guess the composer/publisher based on the style and instrumentation used.
That track at 20:20 is probably the first true dubstep track, lol!!
Classical dubstep 😃
8:45 9:40
Awesome and beautiful video, thanks for share
the best nes compilation of them all!
Impressive collection
This is a fantastic playlist - honestly, all of your playlists have been stellar so far :) Thanks so much for posting!

Jee... jeeeesus
You know it's a well-curated playlist when it starts with a Neil Baldwin song.
...and it has Titan Warriors!
...and NEOTOXIN!
Love this!!!
Super cool 😎 thank you very much, awesome content. God bless. Jesus loves you!
Silly. I was looking up an OST Banana Prince and wound up here.
Good bleeps and bloops here.
@@thesundrinker
Yeah. :) Jorf is awesome. Banana Prince is awesome.
what game is 2:28:00 ? My fave on this mix
Can anyone make it available as a zipped module pack which can be played on foobar?
good playlist, but no Contra/Super С in current video :/ well, it doesn't matter (hope for next NES playlist)
Sound quality is amazing and great tunes. Just wondering what sample rate this is recorded at and is it from real hardware? Sound too sharp for the NES chip, thanks
Can someone give a timelist for a specific song?
how do you make the visuals
What is that player? Thx.
it's hoot (with plugins)
I like this overall, but I wish you'd go over it before uploading it. There have been a couple parts where there's a loud screech like when you unplug an AUX cable but worse. It's a good mix though.
I know, those screeches just pop up randomly whenever I render videos. its a bummer. I removed them from all the individual videos but when I put it all together it takes all day to render and theres bound to be a couple. thanks anyways
@@JorfDB Dang, that's rough... Yeah, I don't know how to help with that aspect. I know when editing audio sometimes you need to be really careful, but with video I've never had issues with audio rendering since it's always been the visuals that have errors when you fail.
