Truck Grand Prix - Intermodellbau 2024
At the IG Mikromodell stand, thrilling truck races were once again held every two hours. The races have now become a real crowd puller and it's not just the spectators who are eagerly awaiting the start. During the 5-minute heats, the drivers fight for every place.
Most of the trucks have an original Rietze body. The chassis is 3D printed and designed in such a way that the components only have to be clipped in and fixed.
A conversion of this type can be completed in just a few hours and the fun is limitless, as you can see in the video.
As you can see, the little racers are in no way inferior to the originals and offer exciting races right to the end.
Converted stand models from Rietze and Wiking in 1:87 scale are used.
3D printed chassis serve as the basis into which the motor, gearbox, Lipo, servo and receiver are installed. The tires are produced from silicone and increase the grip many times over compared to standard tires.
