- Went on a bit of a rambly journey with this one -- buying my first vintage bag online has been quite a ride! I love this bag so much already and hope you find this video informative if you've been toying with the idea of buying vintage online (and if you've had the Ellipse on your radar - just know that I LOVE IT). The slip pocket in the bag is perfect for a phone. That’s always where I put mine. Your phone will stick up out of the pocket so it’s easy to grab, but it’s secure instead of just loose in the bag. Don’t underestimate that pocket! 😉
I love how you shared the nostalgia of your LV experiences with your mom and of course, something about that LV sound :-) - Great video, great bag, I'm also eyeing a vintage piece.
Awesome find. I love that it does not look like it needs repair. I got a good deal on bucket GM. LV will do repairs. The canvas is in great shape.

I love the fact it has dedicated D rings for the addition of a cross body strap.
after watch your video i went to Vestiaire and ordered a bag > 1st seller never send item to inspection . I tried again with another seller second seller refused to send bag to inspection to proof that bag is authentic (which i paid extra 15 dollars for authentic proof ) . They end up refunded my money but it took each time over 10 days to get my money back .. Vestiaire does not have phone number , i have to go to they chat line to wait for response . I believes if you lives in U.S you have to stay up late to chat with them or really early morning . That is another issue . I went back here to give my feedback . Please be-careful People .
Thank you for your reply. Are you in the USA? I asked a bunch of questions before I made 3 purchases. Thankfully for me it worked out as I too wanted my items authenticated. What I was told was if I purchase from out of my country (out of the USA) that my item will be authenticated. If I order within my own country, which is the USA, Vestiaire will not force authentication. Well my 3 items were all out of the country. 1 Fendi leather baguette from Hong Kong (under $500), 1 Fendance Wrappy from Spain ($300) and 1 canvas Fendi Hobo somewhere in Europe ($300). They were purchased separately and each one got authenticated and arrived safely. Vestiaire is not my go to as I do feel uneasy at times. I think you can get great items there. Perhaps the key is to get your items out of the country so your item will be authenticated. Hope this helps.
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience - I've seen a few comments like this about Vestiaire lately and have been a little skeptical to purchase myself. Hope they rectify the problems soon!

if you notice, the handles have strap hooks. I have an Ellipse PM and I bought a strap for it so I can wear it over the shoulder LOVE it :)

Your bag is real, but it looks like a made in the USA LV bag.
I’m pretty sure that the elipses that were made in France have a leather interior and the ones that were made in America have brown cloth.
So I think the receipt from France is fake.
(Maybe they thought they could charge more for the bag if it came with a receipt?)
I love that bag exactly the same the one I have I purchased from ShopShops from Japan but the handles are cracked and damaged I don’t know if Real or fake but It had authentication certificate that is real.. please can you advise thanks

Yes! Early 2000s. Glad to see LV recycling some of their classic archive pieces.
I got my just now， it has a smell I tried to air it out but not be able to…
I've put dryer sheets in mine before to mask the smell in the short term but best to air out with some of those in for a while
