- Richard Tice says his party has “shaped influences” after Rishi Sunak “made announcements copying” their policies.
“Everybody laughed at me three years ago - they’re not laughing now, they’re absolutely terrified.”
Nigel Farage has said he will focus on getting Donald Trump re-elected rather than stand as a Reform UK candidate in the July 4 General Election.
The arch Brexiteer said he will “do my bit to help” the party in the UK campaign but that it is not the right time “to go any further than that”.
There had been speculation that Reform UK’s honorary president could return to frontline politics for the national vote for which Rishi Sunak on Wednesday set the summer date.

Richard needs to spice things up if he wants to get the attention of young people. Reform is focusing too much on immigration. They need to start thinking about economic drivers such as big new projects to drive jobs and wealth creation. They should be a new undersea tunnel running from Dublin Ireland to Ile of Man and then to England. London needs to have a better bigger Disney style sized theme park but one that has British characters such as Winnie the poo Harry Potter and others.

Totally agree, he’s done what no one else has done. He was ridiculed in the EU Parliament for years but he never gave up. I like and admire the man. He’s done his bit now it’s time we British people did ours.
I believe many of us HAVE supported Nigel Farage over the years - we voted for Brexit. We've almost always agreed with Nigel and supported him. I believe that if Nigel supports the USA getting Trump back in as President, Trump will change the world for the good. Which means the UK will be affected too. If there's no point voting for another party, other than LibLabCon then there's no point in any of us going to the poll stations. There HAS to be an alternative from the 3 main parties, otherwise it means we live in a dictatorship. I like the policies Sunak has proposed - but wtf didn't he do them during the last 14 years.

Reform has to bring ideas that will ignite the young people to vote for them, just focusing mainly on immigration is too boring and conservative. They have to look at projects which can create jobs. Look, to solve your housing crisis, a new city could be built which would prevent more building on the greenbelt. Wales and Scotland are ripe for such developments or an extension to small towns like Bristol etc.
