    And we also have "Logic analizers" and "Frequency analizers" which add to the confusion as to what all these tools do.

    Hi, you mention at the beginning that 0dBm into a 50 ohm load is 1W? Surely 0dBm is 1mW (hence the "m" in dBm). 30dBm is 1W?

    Hi learn, amazing video, my respect. Please could you tell me the utility of TG function? The model UTS 3021B have not TG instead UTS1032T yes. I'd like to buy UTS1032T for TG function, but, if is not necessary I prefer UTS3036B because of 40000 point. Thanks.... PS, I just subscribe!

    Oscilloscope is over a time domain. Spectrum Analyzer is over a frequency domain

      There are also "Logic analyzers" and "Frequency analyzers" and it all starts sounding Greek to me.

      The oscilloscope shows voltage in the Y axis and time in the X. The speccy shows signal strength in the Y axis and frequency in the X.

    0 dbm is 1mW, 30 dbm is one watt😊😊
