I know what you mean! I thought any yarn would work. I used a yarn slightly thicker than hers, and the measurements were à bit big on me. I think it's better to use thinner yarn haha
@@artemishunter4242 this is where I'm lost! I have all the same materials, I am not new to crochet in any means and mine looks NOTHING like hers. My bottom ruffle is the same stitch type, stitch count, yarn, needle as hers and yet my ruffle was only just under 2 inches long where as hers looks long and flowy. I'm starting to think her sample image is using trebles instead as I can't make it make sense.
What is the gauge of this? Using the same size yarn, needle, stitches, stitch count mine looks nothing like yours. The bottom ruffle is SO short (under 2 inches). I am not new to crochet, my stitches are very consistent. I'm losing my mind over this does anyone know what the gauge is or what could be wrong?? Are you sure you're using a 2.5mm?? The needle in the video looks FAR larger than mine that's the only thing I can figure could be the problem. The yarn looks like DK as well. I have wasted a week on this I'm so choked I have to take it apart I've been weaving in as a went.
hii, had the same problem - I had at least double the amount of stitches than she does and it's a lot heavier and stiffer ... I will probably take it all apart now, since I don't see myself wearing it, because it is so short. I'll probably try again with a DK yarn (that's what it looks like in the video) and my 4 hook - that's what I used for another tutorial of hers, where everything worked out well and I had pretty much the same amount of stitches as her

@@jennieandmarian4359 yarn that is kinda thin.
