I started and ran a food pantry and we did a client choice pantry where the client can choose what they want and not take items they won't use. That way it saves more food for others that will eat it and keeps down waste. I suggest the next time you go to a food pantry (not food bank-that is where the food is sent to the pantries) ask to leave the unwanted food. They may in return allow you to pick something that you will enjoy. I think you mentioned that. Calling it a food bank is a mistake that many make and it's ok. Most food banks are one a budget and sometimes they all can't get items that people want the most. I am so glad that you are utilizing a food pantry when things are tight, that is the exact reason it is there. You got some good items that you can freeze, esp. the bread to avoid it going to waste and you'll have it in a pinch at another time. Just A lot of food is good beyond expiration dates, esp. canned items which are good for years anyway. Enjoyed your video!
You can preserve dry dehydrate can pickle jar freeze anything that produce fruit and meats that's not the freshest or best looking. The oranges you can do marmalade stale bread is awesome for bread crumbs croutons and bread stuffing or french toast
Dear your showing of the goodies will flow better if you put everything on the table or counter and ARRANGE IT before taping. Then just turn your camera around. You bobbing up and down on camera is not a distraction. We would like to see less of you exercising and more of the goodies. And what you will make from them.
