Some of you may have noticed at 1:04 it should be "Sound the sirens" rather than "Ring the sirens" (good job if you spotted it btw ;D). I still haven't figured out how to overlay the caption at exactly at that position buuut I hope I'll be able to put that in soon!!
Ok so I think that this song could be about losing one’s childhood innocence. This child thinks that these “monsters” can only exist in fairytales and it’s reinforced by the adults in their life but as they get older they see these people who are just as bad or worse than the fairytale monsters. She sees these people roam free too and starts to think of all adults who don’t do anything about it as monster too only to become an adult who watches from the sidelines herself. Or it’s a funky song that means something else entirely, this was just something I noticed
This is a really good song, I love how seamlessly the story gets told as the song processes!!

My dad and I have a tradition whenever we’re driving together that one trip, he plays a song that he likes and lets Apple Music generate whatever songs come next for the drive, and the next trip, I do the same thing.
