Just found this wonderful presentation by accident. Thanks a million to Geoff for sharing his wealth of knowledge with the world. I certainly learned so much watching all the three parts, twice. Special thanks to TMF, making it possible. Nasser, California
Wow just found part 3 of this great series. watching it now, magnificent and TYVM. The sidecar section is great. I still have a 1974 DJP sidecar here in Australia. It was connected to my 2001 T100 Bonneville.
@@TheMissendenFlyer Sorry to hear that :( I would never have visited anyway as I am in Australia and disabled, I have 3 motorcyles as garage art. One is 2009 Thruxton I bought as a wreck and have enjoyed having my mechanic fix/ replace the damage.
Thanks Paul - I hope so too but fear my efforts won't be enough, they are under considerable pressure from the local council I believe and their days may be numbered.....would be such a shame as I thoroughly enjoyed my visit - if you can rock on down there for a gander!
TheMissendenFlyer Oh no! Yet again more of this country's heritage is under threat from short sighted thieving politicians! I'm spitting blood! I'll share away.
Yes definitely worth a visit - combine it with a trip to the Ace Café and you have a pretty good ride out in the making! Glad you enjoyed these Mike - all the best - TMF
Really interesting series? Jeff/Geoff is a very enlightening person to listen to - full of detail that you might not appreciate even if you visit the museum (which I haven't - yet(. Joining the BMCT seems a no-brainer since you get free access to many interesting motorcycle museums for £20 p.a.
Enjoyed every minute. I'm so glad I've "rediscovered" motorcycling as a hobby! Look forward to whatever you do next. Regards, Jon. (Don't forget that RE review :-) )
Loved the videos, have you been over to the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham? Their friends scheme even allows you to ride the exhibits, and having done that, I think it would be right down your street! , Pure motorcycling at it best, all the best Alex
Thanks Terry, nothing planned at the moment but never say never! Glad you enjoyed our efforts on this one, a fascinating day out had! All the best - TMF
Wow!! Came to this series after watching your Biker Scran series with Geoff and Dan. Fascinating stuff. Watched all three back to back. Your mate Geoff knows his stuff. Think I'll pop down there and have a look around, if it's still there. Is it the one in Greenford?
Great series! Very interesting history lesson I really enjoyed watching and learning. I sent you a pm a few days ago with some questions, please respond when you have the time, thanks TMF!
Just checked my email and they showed up but I can't see them in my messages tab on youtube (must be something with all the changes youtube has been making lately) Thanks for the response!
They had questions about sidecars on my recent bike theory test ! I guess they had to for the 1 in a million chance I strap a sidecar to a bike . The insurance company have asked me "will it have a sidecar" , to which I said "I've got a car!"
Thank You for such a fantastic presentation. Japanese bikes just don’t cut it if BRITISH bikes now on the mainstream the existing 3 can prove to be reliable again. RE. TRIUMPH and now NORTON

Yeah - best check the opening times, not sure of its current status although I know the website is still up (was thinking of rerunning this one).....
Great series.. Pity the museum had to close down in October 2019
Yes a shame isn’t it... was an interesting spot.

How odd - I have similar issues with messages coming and going, can sometimes be a bit flaky...
Hopefully youtube does something about this and the other things that are going on lots of problems with youtube right now.
