Just purchased one and it’s apparently needing a firmware update. How do you update it? Going on 24hrs now and it showing the camera on my app but it’s still won’t send a pic or video??? I have a pile of cell cameras and I’ve never had this problem.
You can go into the settings (click gear icon) then select “device info”. There it’ll show you the software version (should end in 601). If it needs updated it should give you the option to perform that process there.

No doubt it’s a challenge when there’s low/no signal. I have found the cell cameras do better at picking up signal vs my phone. In other’s words my phone says no service but the cams can pick up a bit of signal. So there’s hope for ya 😁
I'm not a fan of cellular cameras because they never seem to have coverage and their prices are way too expensive On top of that this is not a clamshell design the more open ports you have the more prominent will be to moisture Only 32 not very good I don't consider anything below 128 And unfortunately cellular kills battery life I'd much rather have a large solar panel intergrated running a lithium battery what the option of adding AA batteries I like to use alkaline because of their extremely low self-destruct rates
