This is a really well done video. As much as I have a constantly wandering eye with regards to anything paramotoring related I feel a lot like Travis does, "This one is mine and it's perfect." I fly a few times a week and above everything else my Nitro 200 takes me flying when I want to go flying. That's why I like it.
WoodysGamertag LoL. My “gamer” son was super impressed that I, his 49 yr old dad knew who Woody was. Small world this UA-cam thing. Cheers Woody and Aviator. Love the PPG vids.
You guys are awesome. Thanks for the review. I hope I get to meet you someday and fly down in FLA. I'm still wingless but I hope to change that this year, fingers crossed. As a pre-noob this motor tops the list because of your transparency. You guys are an example for how all small businesses should do things.
The exhaust cracking at the repair points is likely caused by the high stress the metal undergoes during the welding process. You may be able to prevent cracking by heating the weld point and the first 2 inches of metal on both sides of the weld to orange hot and letting it cool slowly to anneal it. That will relieve the stress in the metal. An oxy-acetylene torch would work better than a little blue bottle hand-held propane torch.
As always, you guys are the BEST. : ) Thanks for the continual upgrade changes to the Air Conception 200 assembly. Reliability and warranty is paramount in paramotoring.
Your customer service is exceptional. I've seen how quick you are to help /and or rectify any problems your customers have. I'm still unsure which motor to buy but if I did decide to go with the AC I would hope that other dealers would provide the same high standard of service that the aviator guys do. Its reassuring.
It would be great to keep a list on the website or somewhere with 'known issues' and dates of manufacture that it affects. Like "if you ordered your motor after January 2017, the applicable known issues are...."
I love these videos so much. Your transparency sharing everything about the nitro really shows how you stand behind your product and that gives a prospective buyer confidence.
david stidham im joining u, the problem with paramotors is that most of the donts or problems u cant find cuz people dont post it online, and the sellers are not that honest cuz they wanna sell.
What came out of this for me was these are extremely reliable given how they are used and when something does break (as anything mechanical can and eventually will) you stand by your customers even when it's their fault something broke. I know where I'll be getting my paramotor when I manage to finish saving up for one.
Seems like a great motor. Not yet bullet proof, but getting there quickly. But here comes the tornado. There is a leaning curve with any new engine. Weaknesses show up over time. The tornado seems like it is going to be a winner, but right now, the 200 is the way to go. It has been tested the only dependable way. In the air. The tornado is going to be more complex, fuel pump, etc.. More to go wrong. That Cessna engine hasn't changed much for good reason. It works fine as is. I hope by the time I am ready to invest in a new engine, the revisions will be all done. Thanks for the videos,. Good to see reputable dealers showing both sides of the coin and being honest with potential customers. Very rare in this sport. Glad you guys are successful. Hope to do business with you some day.
Very nice video and machine. I love to see you move the master switch to where it could be reached while in flight like the after market plate on the forum. Great job overall !!!
What will you do with all the Nitro 200s that hit the market when the Tornadoes get here? Will there be great deals, and will you be working to make them available? Seems like a unique opportunity to get some people (maybe even me) who can't swing the cost as things stand right now.
Nice review. Thank you for actually being a company that stands behind their product and honest about the bad. I’m hoping to be a new student in paramotor soon. I would love to go to you but distance and money are a sad factor. Though I am considering buying my motor and wing from you. Thanks again.
as some one wanting to get into paramotoring and nitro seems to favoure me as love all coments and all honesty of good and failers of motor still favoring nitro200 🇦🇺🤗😀from aus
Although I have been known to complain about how long it takes to get things...;o) ...... I'm happy that I got my Nitro 200 just before Christmas. As I feel most of the issues that Travis listed have been addressed with my Motor. I have the new wrist strap on mine and it is quite nice. I did notice right off how nice that strap fit on my hand. Now I just need to go find the fuse. And relay's are not an issue. They are typically pretty easy to find. As long as I can tell what amperage they need to be. I usually take good care of my Lipo's and I too have never had a problem with a Lipo battery. Just treat them with respect and you'll do OK.
A build car motor like a Honda K24, an LS based GM small-block engine or even an second-hand AMG or BMW engine would cost that much (Not including ECU), but then I guess you would need the rest of the car and drive train as well (but then you are not talking about the cost of the wing or frame ect here). Also you can get most of the way to a super bike engine for that much. I guess my question is what is bringing the cost here? Is it because the market is tiny in comparison to the big automotive industry? Great video.
Hi. Is the nitro 200 powerful enough for a heavy person. I would say I weight about 110kg with normal clothing on. I’m 6ft 1. The tornado 280 sounds like fun but I would prob not like the increase in fuel consumption. Hoping the nitro 200 has enough power for me. I would prob like to do adventure flying. Goto different locations. Maybe a bit of cross country. But mainly just for fun. Any advise would be great thanks.
why on earth have people disliked this video? keep up the great work guys. I'm due to fly in the next few weeks. I just found a nice airstrip that will let me launch 👍
When you have a position, no matter how inoffensive, there will be opposition, not because of what your position is, but simply because you *have* a position. The thumbs downs only verify that these guys sell products and support them.
I have been waiting for this. Love my nitro200. #638. We're there many clutch issues? I have a few questions and will hit you up via email. I hope to come fly at Lake Wales someday. Thanks for your efforts. Cheers.
Love the fact your honest, but I know a guy that said if I fly his equipment I won’t die, cause no one has ever died with his. Or am I drinkin the kool aid, just sayin
Tony Marzano if the motor is bad it doesnt affect ur safety at all, if ur motor stops working in the air ur wing doesnt make u fall, dudek is the safest if u just wanna cruise, ozone is also realy good i both readed it from forums etc there both good wings
How old is Air Conception? 2yr warranty is ok. And you pay shipping both ways is nice guys. When you start talking about a company who tosses the crank cases, that cant be good for a young company. People will stay away for a couple years at least. Its like buying a car you never buy a car when they first build them for the first couple years :)) Just saying.. But it is good you guys are honest, I hope Air conception didn't get pissed you mention they tossed that many.. :) More than likely they have a Chinese company build the cranks pistons jugs for them :) I also hate when a company advertises 200 and yet its only 190cc. If you went to the store and bought 10 apples and yet they only give you 8 wouldn't you be pissed LOL So stupid manufacturers do that crap. And china is very famous for it. Especially In LED Grow light industry. A 300w grow light is really only about 180w. :) but most people don't know that. Good video thanks guys.
Air Conception has been around for almost a decade. The Nitro has been out for just under three years now. I totally understand the CC frustration. They chose the names long ago :)

This type of transparency is why you guys are killing it and deserve to be. Thank you!

This would be very helpful. Known failure like the pulley should be documented online more so than in a video.
I love these videos so much. Your transparency sharing everything about the nitro really shows how you stand behind your product and that gives a prospective buyer confidence.
I really want in the sport and your customer service is the difference of what I will consider when I save up enough money to purchase. Great video!
david stidham im joining u, the problem with paramotors is that most of the donts or problems u cant find cuz people dont post it online, and the sellers are not that honest cuz they wanna sell.
david stidham this motor im 100% positive about

You guys are crushing the customer service game! One future customer right here!
These are pretty cool paramotors!
You need one bro!
Love learning more about different motors, appreciate the review. Nitro 200 is near the top of my upgrade list :)
That Cessna though 😍
The resale Value of my Air conception Nitro 200 Es/ Clutch just went up Thanks Guys LOL!
I said it before, and I'll say it again...You guys are awesome! I hope to get into this one day.
Hey Travis and Eric! Enjoyed the review. Always appreciated your candid assessments!
Well done as usual guys, All we need is a night on the runways with nobody looking. Gotta break that turbo in Eric. Fun times. Continued success.

Uhm, 280 will be too powerful for most pilots to handle, so I don't think that will be a problem at all. Lots of people are very happy with 80-120cc.
Thank you for the real truth. I have huge respect for the honest. This is really rare, I so appreciate it.
Thanks Ben, this is our goal! We're always here to serve.
Thank you for the marketing campaign. I hope it goes well. The airplane and the paramotor in the hanger was a nice touch.
Not a hater dude. I feel like I’m watching an informational on Aviator products.
Nice review. Thank you for actually being a company that stands behind their product and honest about the bad. I’m hoping to be a new student in paramotor soon. I would love to go to you but distance and money are a sad factor. Though I am considering buying my motor and wing from you. Thanks again.
We'd be honored to have your business Bill! Thank you for the kind words!
Can't wait to see more Costa Rica videos! I'll be there next month. Can't wait! :)
lower the trigger voltage to the relays. Over voltage kills relay coils. In a high vibration system I’d use MOSFET in parallel for the switching.
as some one wanting to get into paramotoring and nitro seems to favoure me as love all coments and all honesty of good and failers of motor still favoring nitro200 🇦🇺🤗😀from aus

When can we send a deposit on a Tornado280 (the whole paramotor, not just the engine)? I'm tired of waiting!
you guys are just awesome!
Nice! Great info, thanks guys!
Great stuff. Thanks from across the Pond..

That is a beautiful looking motor sitting next to you guys. ;)

So what paramotor would you guys recommend now that you no longer sell Air Conception?
why on earth have people disliked this video?
keep up the great work guys. I'm due to fly in the next few weeks. I just found a nice airstrip that will let me launch 👍

Yep, I think the usual best case scenario is around 2% dislikes (for anything, any channel).
my wife must be in that 2 %.
she seems to dislike me lol
And don't forget there's some good competitive Motors out there, the Scout and the flat top
Im sure its just the competition like you know who and a couple others disliking it.
yo 5 cell lipos are 21v fully charged thatll burn out any automotive relay in a hurry... have you tried using a 24v relay?
Why don't all AC motors come with the diamond coating in the cylinder instead of nikasil? @12:32
I'm just getting into this sport and wonder how you would compare your motors versus the black hawk Motorsport?
We really don't like to speak negatively about any one. Lots of good equipment out there, do you research :)
Are there still motors out there with bad crank cases?
What about the tornado 280 that's the video I'd rather see
whens the 280 coming out and will it be possible to buy just the engine.
Hi Eric and Travis, How can we identify if we have a new crankcase design or old?
Was also wondering about this
I'll send some photos :) the new case has an extra support on it near the carb.
I have been waiting for this. Love my nitro200. #638. We're there many clutch issues? I have a few questions and will hit you up via email. I hope to come fly at Lake Wales someday. Thanks for your efforts. Cheers.
Well, you dropped them. This hunt for equipment is getting difficult. I'm new and trying to keep everything under 10K.
We have used equipment that can make that happen for you.
Eric, When can I buy my Tornado???
should be "Hi i'm eric farewell and this is travis burns - travis: Hi" LOL
Love it! 👌 thanks guys! 😎 ........well got to get back to Tucker Got now!lol!😂
I want to set up a foundation for our veterans to teach them to fly and get them in the air!! Looking for a sponsor!!
There's already a phenomenal one out there! Check out ResurgencePPG.com
Cracks, what happens when you make things as light as can be.
Good customer service from aviator though
Love the fact your honest, but I know a guy that said if I fly his equipment I won’t die, cause no one has ever died with his. Or am I drinkin the kool aid, just sayin
Stupidity beats great equipment 4 times out of 5. No equipment can protect you from yourself!
It is most definitely kool-aid. Completly delusional and utter, utter, kool-aid.
Don't drink his kool-aid dude!
Tony Marzano if the motor is bad it doesnt affect ur safety at all, if ur motor stops working in the air ur wing doesnt make u fall, dudek is the safest if u just wanna cruise, ozone is also realy good i both readed it from forums etc there both good wings
hi
Call me, I could suggest a better relay!!
How old is Air Conception? 2yr warranty is ok. And you pay shipping both ways is nice guys.

Brian Spinniken hey Brian you were probably disappointed with every dirtbike you ever purchased because they are never the CC they advertise
Solidstate relays.....
