try to remove the bar end side mirror and its alen bolt reinsert it a little just hold on to the remaining anchor and use a needle nose to hold the alen bolt on the head, then gently tap the needle nose away from the end bar so it doesn't get scratched. hope it helps.. ride safe
Just picked up these mirrors and 7/8 Renthol (Ultra Low) Handlebar for my Bonneville - Unfortunately, these mirrors don't fit the bar. They might work if I remove the outside sleeve from the mirror assembly (and the washer) but I'm not sure I want to do that - I also don't want to bore out the bar end... nice mirrors though. Maybe I'll hang on to them in case I opt for a new set of bars.
If this is the case where the previous owner had a different type of bar end mirror installed with the setup you just described, you can use needlenose pliers. Insert one of the pliers' jaws into the threaded hole, and jam the other jaw between the outside of the rubber gasket and the inside of the bar. It will take maybe 10 pulls (you need to grip it good, and pull it out bit by bit). After each pull the pliers will slip off, but the gasket should come loose bit by bit; every time you should be able to jam the jaw further and further between the gasket and the inside of the bar. Hope this helps, it worked for me. Try not to pull your bike off the stand if you're doing this on the right-side handlebar.
This video saved me a ton of headache. Thank you!
Why dont you make a video on how to install these on a sport bike that have factory bar ends.
Thanks for this video. It really helped me out.
The anchor I have is too big, do you know what you would recommend?
Great video, thanks for the quick but thorough explanation.
Whats a good trick to remove the anchors from the bar ? I unthreaded the mirrors but the anchors are still stuck in there.

So my anchors on the screw are REALLY hard to tighten is that normal. Like, gotta put gloves on to get a good grip and twist it like a mother
How do you get the expansion anchors out when they are stuck in there?
Hey guys, I want to know how you guys install a mirror adapter when it's a screwed Bar end adapter(like mine : 2015 gsx s 750) please
Why not show this going on bars with the grips on them? Who rides with no grips?
Because it doesn't matter. The grips don't affect the installation what so ever. They just used handlebars for demonstration.
@@BoardWalkToke Mine do, I just have to cut my grips though lol
Once the collar has been expanded inside the bar, is it possible to remove it?
Hey what kind of bars are these? I've been looking for clubman bars with pre drilled holes.
Mine is always loose need to tighten like every 2 months, i believe i installed it properly like this is that normal?
Very helpful! Thanks!
Hi I live in New Zealand
How much are they for a pair?
.What make are they?
A video on how to get the damn things out would be handy

These will not go on my Ducati because the bars are threaded. Does anyone make these for a Ducati 1299?
Perfect thanks
Hey guys my bars aren't hollow, they are filled with rubber with a threaded screw hole for my bar weight caps. How do I get the rubber out ?

Will these fit on the 7/8 Biltwell Moto bars?
Eric Rotolo Hey Eric, I’m wondering about this as well. Did you ever find out the answer? Thanks in advance
3 years later...no.
like it thanks for all
🙌🏻
why not just make a set for 1" bars? 99% of bikes nowadays have 1" bars
Great now how do you get grips on 🤦♂️
Useless since I need to cut the grip ends for this.
Just had a pair of shitty cheap bar ends snap on me
This shit doesn't fit on 7/8 inch bars or pro taper bars.
Did you work it out. You have to pull the pieces apart and just use the smaller of the two expanding pieces. I installed them.
@@frightz7636 yeah I had a blond moment but I got them installed. Thanks for the reply
What about the grips. Useless video.
