It's a sad love song. Zhou Shen first covered it in a TV show 蒙面唱將猜猜猜2019 where he's to wear a big round headgear so that all audiences just listened to him without knowing who he was. That was a remarkable performance! The more we learn about how Zhou Shen fights hard for his every stage, the more we treasure such a lovely angel💖💖💖

This song was an OST of a TV series. The original singer was also the composer. He liked Zhou Shen's voice and let Zhou Shen do a cover. He said later that this song had become Zhou Shen's masterpiece.

A couple met in the Palace and had good liking towards each other. The Emperor, however, decided to take the girl to be one of His concubines. The guy, knowing that the relationship would not proceed, went to the extend of sacrifying his love and life in order to protect the girl.
The song decribes the feeling of the girl. "Not able to forget the guy and very much appreciated his selfless help". While looking out of her window, she could even hear the sound of the falling snow and pictures of their past keep appearing. Yet she had to continue "fight" for survival amoung the concubines.
Zhou Shen can present the passion/emotion of the song perfectly. Easily brings us back to the story.
