- Ron Swanson: softboi edition
Here's some of our favourite soft, wholesome Ron Swanson moments, from his father-daughter relationship with April to some unwanted bear hugs from Andy and his sweet relationship with Diane
From "Parks & Recreation": a mockumentary series following Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Leslie is determined to improve her small world through her job, despite resistance from Parks Director Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), an anti-government Libertarian. The series also stars Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari and Retta.

The Scottish poem scene is one of my favorite scenes from any TV show or movie ever. So beautifully read and acted by Nick Offerman.
Me 2
Maybe I'm just sleep deprived but I legit have tears in my eyes listening to that
Same!!
I don't think it's acted. I think that's just Nick Offermann being Nick Offermann.
I think mine was when he talked with Knope about her leaving the office and taking everyone with her, the way his voice cracked when talking about April just broke me
Giving Andy the scholarship was the one that gets me. Ron is secretly loaded but NEVER gives away his money.
Ron was written and played so well it's incredible every time
Ron Swanson: the most complex and deep "simple" man in television history.
3:00 Ron apologizing and admitting something is new and he needs to learn is just so powerful to me. He knows he's out of his depth, but no way is he walking away from it. ☺️
Ron has a relationship with April and Andy that I wish i had with my dad. I know it's fake, but it's so wholesome I can only imagine.
The reason why he has this relationship with them is because he's not their parents. If he was it would be the same as any other parent.
They had no right to go that hard for the scene of Ron visiting Scotland. But they did and I'm so glad that I'm able to witness it whenever I desire.
The world is tough most days, but small things like being able to watch a 2 minute scene thay touches you overand pver again, no matter how fake or scripted it is, help to make it more bearable.
7:00 The “Hanson” redirect from Ron to try to show he doesn’t love Dianne or care for Ann is perfect
Come on woman!
I think it's a callback to when Ron said he likes to day people's names wrong when they get too chummy. And April calls him Lester right then. An amazing cutaway scene
@@199Kiran yup that’s why I made the original comment
It’s actually unnatural the amount of things the writers just happened to write that Ron did that Nick also did himself.
That's what makes Ron's character so real. Because he is real just dialed up a surprising very little bit for TV
Ron baby talking to his son was just so sweet.🥰
I also love that Ron his wearing his traditional pirate costume for Halloween once again.😉
Ron being happy is so contagious for some reason
Ron's (somoewhat) wrong about Europe. There are Irish disitilleries that I'd bet he'd love to visit as well. And I'm sure he'd be thrilled and never tell anyone that he visited some more far-flung places like quiet fjords of Norway, the volcanic hot springs of Iceland, the wooded mountains of Austria, or see the desolate beauty of the aurora in northern Finland. He may have to travel through a few population centers with very little to interest him, but those seem like outdoor pursuits that would interest Ron Swanson.
True, but he’s a hardline Lagavulin man
Soft ron has my whole heart ❤
the way Ron gives people money when he goes trick or treating XD
a crisp 20 dollar bill 😂
When AnnPerkins and Gary/Jerry are crying 😂
I have enjoyed parts of this video.
I've only seen clips of the show and it's already one of my favorite
its worth binging
I've been subconsciously waiting for this my entire life
1:29 best gift ever
missed opprotunity to name this video Ron Softson
that thumbnail is gold
It’s brilliant being Scottish , American shows make it out like it’s the most magical place 😂only the English dislike scotland 🏴 🏴🏴
I'm English, and we generally dislike everyone these days, like an angry little dog. It's sad.
That said, personally I love Scotland! Edinburgh is sooo much better than London. I hate London with a fiery passion.
@@lewislewis3531I give the English a by on hating anyone else because they also hate the English.
Being scottish watching him enjoy Scotland was so wholesome.
9:49 how can a human not melt at such emotional goodbye!
This is just too perfect... I don't have a TV since 2007 and only rely on internet.
When I watch tv, I get bored pretty fast and you got a tremendous amount of adds when watching it!
4:10 interviews back at the parks department
Ron Swanson is probably the only man who can call someone “good girl” and not feel creepy
Soft Swanson would've been an apt title
Yep. Definitely gonna have to do reactions to some parks and rec. Ron is goals. Lol
I love the Scottish scene, but I'm confused that the bagpipes are playing the tune for the hymn "Abide with me." The tune is called "Eventide" and was written by English composer William Henry Monk in 1861.
Rabbie ❤️
How has Ron never had a drink 🥃 in Europe lol 😆
Second or first?
I wish Haley and Alex from modern family where like Zoe and ivy they getting but Haley and Alex got along in season 6
Odins beard!! Robert Burns is just SO dull.
