Thanks, since i have commented i have been playing like 5-10 games a day and did a couple puzzles, but after a while, I noticed I started doing worse on puzzles so I stopped. I have kind of a weird situation where when I take on a new skill, almost nothing comes to me immediately. Usually, everything happens progression-wise subconsciously and ill just keep failing but i wont know why I'm failing and all of a sudden multiple things click for me at once. I played a few games online, but i noticed everyone was so much better than me so it was a little disheartening, but i managed to lose a few games every now and then and focus primarily on bot games. Today i beat the 1000 lvl bot no assists first try, and i did the same on my second try with the medium hippo. I feel like I'm doing well learning a bit of strategy, but i still cant map out multiple moves in advance, I still have no idea which side is supposedly in a better position, i still cant see every two or one move checkmate, and i have no idea what opening I'm playing and just kind of randomly develop pieces as i feel like it. will update later on the next post. the 1500 logic bot kicked my ass though
I would continue puzzle if i was u. If its harder, its just become u have to train more. The important thing is do to it, ad u will become better. But it take time.
@@SlinkyChess im so tired i played a perfect game, zero misses with every move being best move, and I decided to review. while I was reviewing I somehow forgot that it was literally my game, and I was trying to figure out what a good move was, gave up, checked to see the answer and thought "man if this was me I wouldn't have seen that shit". I'm around 1200-1400 now btw
I love your sunglasses and the curtain in the back !
I was right all along, it's the puzzles ! BTW lichess is also cool because it's a non-profit.
