I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
@Wilhelmina-Luisa That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@Wilhelmina-Luisa The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
Social security runs out before im even 40 im 22 rn and apparently they are raising retirement age to 75??????!!!
I keep reading this exact same comment on different videos which creeps me out right proper

I started collecting silver and gold coins... a great investment for my family 100 years from now... I live in a city where people throw thier cans away...I pick them up each day ..I spend about 2 hrs walking and after two weeks I cash in and buy a 5$ silver coin.. I have so many stacking and the money never came from my paycheck.. I hope my great great grandkids enjoy this
Thank you. Just what I needed to watch. My hubby and I are directors of our farm business and own property, plus small pensions. I am nearly 52, hubby is 55. We have started to save to retire from the farm, and possibly live on rental income, I'd really appreciate you go LIVE and talk about how to earn passive income online and retire comfortably, let’s say $1M.
consider financial planning.
It really isn’t about how much you save, it’s about how you manage your money. Whether you work to earn income or invest, it still boils down to income vs expenses, so yeah you may look into financial advisors for a strategy that suits your timing.
I totally agree, I'm 60 and newly retired with about 1.2 million outside retirement funds, no debt, and very small dollars in retirement funds compared to my portfolio balance over the past 3 years till date. tbh, the role of the invt-advisor can only be overlooked, not denied. just have to do your research in finding a reputable one.
@@jeffery_Automotive My partner’s been considering going the same route, could you share more info please on the advisor that guides you?
The adviser I'm in touch with is 'Julie Anne Hoover' She works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else, for me her strategy works hence my result. She provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.
Buy what you can afford. A tenth ounce Eagle is better than no Eagle. No body said you have to spend 1800 on an ounce. Buying the small stuff is ok.
🤜🤛
Fabulous fractionals 👍
1/4 prob be the lowest i go just bc of premiums. But yes some gold is better then no gold
Sometimes luck and patience come together to get some low premium fractional...
Depends on where you live. In California any purchase under $1500 has to pay sales tax. That can add an additional 8%-11% on top of ridiculous high premium on fractional. If you are spending $1500 might as well save and buy 1oz at 7% premium instead of 1/10 or 1/4 at more than 20% premium.
Whatever you do if you want to buy gold and you have a ton of cash Make sure to go slow. Saving a little extra cash won’t hurt anything in the near future. You’re gonna kick yourself when the price drops and you wish you had extra cash to buy more gold.
Good point!

I’m thankful I found your site and took the time to listen to your insights into gold and metals. I’m new and have been taking in all the relevant information I can. Not many people are honest and straightforward as you are. I sincerely thank you for sharing so much with everyone that are taking this step. I’m already changing my thought process thanks to you. I’m going through your previous videos and listening to your words carefully. I look forward to your new ones to come as well. Thank you.

I really appreciated this video. This was the first video that popped up and it was super informative, and it wasn't trying to promote an agenda/sell anything. So, thank you!
Buying silver or gold as an idea becomes much stronger if linked to savings generally. Acquiring small amounts of a tradable metal can be more fun than watching a bank balance grow and at the same time lose value, especially in times of high inflation.
You are right!!. Considering the continuous devaluation of the usd.. buying and storing gold is the only way out of this tragedy
How can i get started on buying and investing in gold, i need proper guidance on how to get started
I have purchased gold and silver with almost all my money. Best decision i ever took!!.
@@huldascherer4436 Purchasing gold and precious metals isn't as difficult as most people make it seem.

@@talatyalman9476 hit up timothy owen for some advise. He is the best in the game
For someone looking at purchasing Gold this is a great introduction. It is easy to want to just jump in and buy everything you can, when in reality you can benefit from starting slow. First and foremost, identify the primary reason you are looking to purchase gold. That should heavily influence where you should begin and it will help maximize your potential for reaching your goal sooner.
Well put.
I am new just learnt a lot today. Thank you I will share with others for sure.please keep the lessons coming!
It's nice to see another update to this incredible video. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you!!
Also to keep in mind is that sales tax requirements vary from state to state. For example, here in California any single invoice purchase over $1500.00 is exempt from sales tax which depending on the city and county where you live could save you between 7.25-10.75%.
I love California and spend a good part of summers there, but they practically tax Air!
Taxation is theft
The entire monetary system, especially post Bretton Woods is based on theft through taxation and inflation. There is not a single Fiat currency in history that has not gone to zero...eventually the dollar will face the same fate, it's just a matter of time.
Where can i find information on the sales tax exemption? I did some searching and cannot find where it is listed.
How have I never heard of this?

I am really worried about the current bank crisis. If a bank as big as SVB could fail, I fear for a lot more. I know a friend who is running a high-growth startup, and was badly hit by the bank run. I have pulled out more than $340k from my bank. After all, the FDIC covers only up to$250,000, and the implosion could have bad effect. Looking to invest into the stock market now. Does anyone know how I could go about it?
We underestimate the fact that banks are corporate entities also governed by greed. Since 2020, the banks have been over-leveraging their assets, which was one of the reasons for SVB's implosion. I have never been okay with keeping much money in the bank. I simply invest through my financial advisor, collect my profits, which I then spend.
@@Erinmills98 I have learned to not trust corporations. I was badly hit by the '08 financial crisis. Since 2019, I've just been focused on investing through a financial advisor, and it has been paying off, and I'm never going back to banks full time.
@@IrenaDolinsek Thank you for this! Really appreciate.
Get a stock broker/portfolio manager. . He’ll help you diversify, keep the proper amount liquid. You’ll make 7 per cent or more after fees on average compounded which means a great deal over time.
Gold is a hobby or a small diversification in your overall portfolio. It's fun, but gold doesn't generate earnings.
Thanks so much for such an informative video! Much appreciated!
Another excellent video! You mention passing your gold to your kids. I plan to do the same. I would just like to add that when my boys come to visit, I make a point of showing them my latest purchases so they have an idea of what I have. I have taken them with me to some coin shops and they watched me make purchases (and walk away if the price isn't right). While there, I ask the shop owners questions about what they pay for a particular coin or bar, the differences between, what they like to buy and what they don't. I do this so my boys will "see" how it is done and take some of the mystery out of it. I have a spreadsheet that has all the info about the coins as well as business cards from local dealers and info from online dealers. My hope is that when I am gone, they will have an idea of what they have and how to best liquidate if need be.
Very important point, and it's great that you're doing it. My family is aware and I have information for them as well, but my kids are a bit young to grasp the importance. I'll be trying to get them up to speed over time too. Cheers!
So informative. Thank you!
When I was 12 I used one of those 1/4 oz coins for $5 dollars at the corner store...at first he said no then looked at it a bit longer and agreed...few years later I found out the worth of gold and was horrified. Lesson learned

I was fortunate when I started on gold. I started with a monthly plan with Money Metals Exchange. They were only offering American Gold Eagles 1/10th oz at the time then moved to 1/4 oz later so that's what I have the most of. Although I still don't have much overall weight in gold. Great video, 2 is 1. Thank you.
That's great. Cheers!

There are a lot of people that are new to Gold investing. I mean more than I have seen in 20 years. I go to three local coin shops at least once a week. I run into these new investors that are apprehensive and frankly scared. I try to boost their confidence in a gold purchase, and then direct them to your Channel. I enforce the premise that you are not a pumper trying to sell gold for their own profit, where a lot of channels are.
Thank you for the level-headed advice that you give to so many. A lot of them are truly scared, at least the informed ones are. A voice of reason in times of uncertainty is very comforting and rewarding.

good advice, it holds true for anyone in any country to buy sovereign coins, which i have bought in fractional gold form, but chose private mints for rounds and bars of silver & fractional gold, i subscribed
Started with silver a couple months ago. Got some 1oz. buffalo rounds, then 1oz. Buffalo bars. This month I've already bought a kilo bar, a 10 oz bar. And the. Gold I've gotten a single IGR gram bar, a 2 gram valcambi bar, a 5 gram valcambi bar, and yesterday I grabbed a 10 gram valcambi bar. And last night while at work I ordered a 100g silver valcambi divisible bar paid a lot of premium for it but but since I'm in this for the long term like most of you on here I know one day it'll be worth more definitely
Great video
Thanks. In the middle of something this morning so adding it to my watch later list to catch up on soon.

I have been stacking for years. This is the best video for beginners ever! It should be “The Universal Beginner’s Guide for buying gold”…….at least for Americans
Leading up to the Fed pivot, we'll be seeing some good discounts this year. Likely will be a great time to be averaging in. Another good video, 2is1!

I buy my Gold (online) from Walmart, and they transact with all of the most well known dealers. The reason I buy from Walmart is that they let you pay with a credit card (with no fee) and
have free shipping. I use my Synchrony Premier 2.2% cash back card, so I get my 1 oz. Maples for only 1.7% over spot - I haven't found a better deal ANYWHERE else. I just bought 8 - 1oz.
Maples, which was shipped from APMEX in only 3 days, and I'll be buying another 20 0zs. before the end of this year. I'll be buying a good amount of 90% U.S. coins locally, as I can get it
for only 8% over Spot.
Als0, Walmart has their 1 coin price as low as the 100+ coin price with other online dealers.
❤’d this video. Thanks 🙏 alot
Informative ❤

I have stop buying Gold & Siler online. I go to the stores, I save a ton of money with no fees.
Thanks, I needed to see this! I started out buying gold without much direction and ended up with a hodgepodge of bars and coins of different sizes and from different mints. I paid too much attention to spot prices and premiums. It makes for a fun collection but I agree it most likely will be more difficult for me or someone else to sell, especially in bulk when needed. Concentrating now on Eagles and Maples.
Good focus. Cheers!

Such a great choice of book for the background
Thanks for another excellent video. I’ve made 3 mistakes when I started buying outside of numismatics. My first gold purchases were several 1oz. RCM gold bars, (unaware of the drawbacks) my second was generic gold rounds from gold line (premium prices for a not so premium product). I was able to recover from these mistakes with trades. My third was generic silver products. Traded away the majority of generic silver rounds and bars keeping only 50 10oz. Germania mint bars (love these).Yes if your simply going for weight there is nothing wrong with gold bars and generic gold if the premium is in line with the purchase. At the time I didn’t consider ease of resale or tax ramifications as a part of my exit strategy. Now I’m very aware and have accordingly purchased only specific products.
Yeah, different strategies for different purposes. There’s no doubt the choices are important. Cheers!
You have nice collections ❤

In many cases buying 1/10oz & 1/4oz Gold Eagles, or Maple Leafs is more liquid. Meaning they are often easier to sell if need be. Fact is not all coin shops can pull out $1800-$2000 cash to buy 1oz Eagles. However, it's a lot easier for them to hand out $200 or $500 on 1/10oz's or 1/4oz's pieces. Also, I never recommend buying 1/2oz's because its still right around $1000, so being that close its better if you can to buy the 1oz, or two 1/4oz sizes. I think the best single coin is the 1/4oz Eagle its really right in the sweet spot. Happy Stacking!!!
My initial gold buying involved a lot of numismatic coins of low mint state which was bad because the online salesman took advantage of my ignorance. Starting out, ONLY buy bullion coins, not numismatic (collectible, graded) coins. Numismatics require a lot of knowledge and dedication, like a hobby.
Nice video for new stackers 21!
Thanks!
I wish I could find someone who really explains these things for actual beginners. Like with explaining all the terminology. Buying a “spot” price? I’m already lost 😅 What is a spot price? What are premiums? What is the meaning of all these words in this context? I mainly want to know why gold is a good investment? For instance, is it worth more than what you purchased it for later?
Thanks for reinforcing what I have been doing from the start. A strategy that I likely stumbled into.
That's great! I had to get stung once or twice to realize what I was doing. 😅
@@2is1gold What I have learned from your presentations have hopefully allowed me to avoid it.
You should mention Sprott Gold etf as you buy a piece of a bigger piece and it is stored and insured. Everyone should have some money in this. If you have enough they will deliver it to you.
I just want to make an addendum to what you said about gold should not be sold in stores for its stamped price. You are correct in that. However, a number of states have passed legislation to allow gold to be traded for good and services at its weight (although I doubt they’ll give you change in gold as well). Check your state laws for more information about how this system works in your state.
Gorgeous Sir. Thank you.
Thanks!
Stacking gold is great I am sure you covered it but I think there is an important message to new stackers like you said is to ease in. I have a feeling a lot of new stackers end up getting themselves into trouble financially buy purchasing too much gold or silver at one time leaving there other finances lacking. I don't know how true that is but its just a thought I had.
Definitely something to be careful to avoid. Cheers!
Some great info, especially for newer stackers but it's good to refresh the knowledge and I like just listening to your rational thinking. I do take a look at spot at least once a day so if we have a big pull back I can be ready to pull the trigger but what I've noticed lately with the pull backs, like right now on Bullion Exchange they're saying they're sold out of quarter oz and half oz eagles because they don't want to sell it at a loss. The price for a half would be 995 and a quarter at 519 if you could buy it. I understand why they do it but It's a little irritating. It's not like they don't make enough 95% of the year to make up for the losses.
I think you're right about that happening, but with retail demand where it is, they might truly be out. Especially with Eagles. Cheers!
I've been wanting to invest in gold for retirement since 2003, so glad I found your channel.
Welcome!
