What's really funny about Mr. Hippo's speeches is that the game FORCES you to watch them. No, you can't just exit out of the game and close it and all that to escape it, the moment you start the game back up again it'll start with his speech and force you to watch it before you can actually get to any menus or anything, let alone play the game. You WILL watch the rest of his speech under all circumstances unless you never play the game again, no skip button, no quitting and restarting, nothing.
I feel like mr.hippo's speeches are telling us about how we (fnaf fans) misunderstand the things that are said in the games (like when he says that Orville was misunderstanding him in the 3rd speech) and that sometimes the game makes it seem like it's gonna reveal some lore and it's just some random information (like when he says that he shouldn't have announced that he was telling a story).
