In today's episode of Customs with Vick, we bring you part 2 of constructing a Jordan 1 series. Vick teamed up with Tyler from lacedupkustoms to bring this shoe to life. To start off this process, they had to trace out all the patterns of the shoe onto the leather material and cut them out to precision. Next, they used our laser engraver to create a custom wings logo on the back heel tab. They then began the full process of putting the shoe together using glue, stitching, and a donor outsole. The more I watch Vic work, the more I'm convinced shoe repair and creation is my passion. I've always loved working with my hands and creating things, and I love shoes and boots too, and seeing that these processes are learnable and doable at this level has really inspired me.
Same for me here bro! If only my country was more developed and not as stucked on its old ways/mentality as it is actually 😔

I'm really impressed by this process and how these people can craft such amazing products by hand. I hope one day i can do it as well as they can. Custom products are the best to me. And i love to make things by hand myself.

@@roehl86 they spent $400 on materials alone. How is it fake? If i buy a retail air jordan 1 and unstitch the materials and completely redesign the shoe they wouldnt be considered fake. Its all about perception. You may think it fakes but really its just a 1 of 1 custom.

These are actually way more expensive to make than if u where to buy a nike/jordan at any retail store cus these are made with real leather not just cheap vinyl like all of nike/jordans
These guys used premium materials too, they could have just used synthetic garbage like nike actually does. At this point if youre a consomuer and dont understand that the price it costs to make something is a fraction of what you can sell it for than you deserve to be fucked over

you should make a Air Jordan 1 mid that has the proper Chicago color way and dosen`t give the mids more hate since I think they are pretty decent even if it is a 2 inch difference from the highs

if you can do this, you have the ability to stretch and twist the design to make custom shoes and force nike to do something innovative that wont go for 2,000$ because they put their swoosh backwards on their crappy recolor.

By God they were incredible better than the originals, you should only focus more on making them comfortable when putting them on, if you achieve that they can be the best replicas of Jordan
