The more I watch Vic work, the more I'm convinced shoe repair and creation is my passion. I've always loved working with my hands and creating things, and I love shoes and boots too, and seeing that these processes are learnable and doable at this level has really inspired me.
I just made my first shoe! After watch this video and another one where I watched a 14 yo kid make some 1’s, I decided I could do it to. I made a pair of 4’s. I have been painting and customizing shoes forever and now I know how to make them :)

Great work! Btw, when you are doing the coffee trick for the soles, you will have more success with hot water, it is the heat that gets the coffee to bind for more saturated color

A lot more human work than you'd think. It's why I don't buy Nike. They pay them literally like 1$ an hour or less. Granted all the big name brands do it to a degree, but Nike practices some extra sketchy shit.

These are actually way more expensive to make than if u where to buy a nike/jordan at any retail store cus these are made with real leather not just cheap vinyl like all of nike/jordans

if you can do this, you have the ability to stretch and twist the design to make custom shoes and force nike to do something innovative that wont go for 2,000$ because they put their swoosh backwards on their crappy recolor.
you should make a Air Jordan 1 mid that has the proper Chicago color way and dosen`t give the mids more hate since I think they are pretty decent even if it is a 2 inch difference from the highs
