Wow! Might consider it with that kind of comparison. 2k11 is my last jam and here been suffering with my brother still playing 2k17. Tell me something about the My Career more. Is it like the My Player 2k11 too? The story seems like too but I don't want the unnecessary microtransactions and the feel of off line players being cast-offs or left alone. Heck I can't even change my jumpshot in My Career 2k17 because I'm just playing that off line. Stuck with Lamarcus Jumpshot and I already stopped playing that but basketball is really a thing for me.

Actually there's plenty of games that don't engage in this behavior at all. For the sake of argument though we can both agree that most games with microtransactions don't do it to this extreme. Hypothetically, if every game abuses the consumer doesn't mean they should.

Just don't play those modes, franchise mode is great and has no microtransactions.
I use to play my park but the "grinding" part and microtransactions took all the fun out Blacktop is boring yet it's still my favorite mode. It needs to be more fast and loose though

2k these days is either weeks of frustrating non stop grind or super expensive microtransactions. Core game still amazing though

What's so great about park? How you do a post shot in the paint wide open with a 7ft player instead of a standing dunk? How the clothes dont move at all? Maybe how you stand on a got next spot with 2 full teams and the game wont load in at all no matter how many times you step on or off? Oh. Okay.
Ended up getting this game recently it was 20 bucks. And the myplayer mode is the best story driven Mode in all of Sports Games. Nothing feels more personal

For a basketball game, remember 3 years ago the neighbourhood would’ve never even been imaginable, it’s a 10 out of 10 it feels like 17 and 18 blended together and I honestly think it’s better then both 17 and 18. Would’ve actually rather this was done by someone who is an avid player of 2K and experienced all the Park events and games etc before coming out with this
