I dunno, do they have to have floating hands for interacting with objects in the world? Like to show you where your hands are in-game for picking up guns and medpacks and filters and all that? I've never wanted a VR set, and it looks super clunky in people's lets-plays and stuff, but if it makes it easier to use items that would be okay I guess. You can't use muscle memory though with no actual gun in your hand to reload though, so I imagine that would be very weird unless the hitboxes are generous and there is some kind of auto-correction so things line up right and don't just hang off your thumb and whatever.
Yeah if you watch the trailer, I got it linked in the descrip, there are parts where it just his hands. Like when you check your watch, just floating gloved hands in the air.

How about prepairing yourself for this game,
in gmod vr using map "Rp_radar" and map "rp generators"?
(And combine this with other gmod mods, for stalker weapons and enemies)
Considering that Into the Radius (Stalker VR) has a full body, floating wrists are not acceptable.
also wtf the floating hands is because models sometimes wonk out so instead of a normal body you can get a body that starts to fuck up and well that would be a even larger immersion break then floaty hands
I have a VR set (VIVE) and never have any problems using VR for long play games but I don't want Metro VR but would be interested in watching other play and struggle with it.
I never lost interest in a Metro game so fast.

I haven't used VR since 2020 lol the motion sickness lasted 2 hour and was so bad i couldn't move oof

As i gathered that this is a filler game, they still working on the main game. Plus in my openion there are still ways to go from exodus, artiom personality shows that he worries about preaty much anything, so i dont see him settling at one spot, plius there is Olga who was left in Taiga, they can tie it up with alesha going back after her, or even go back to moscow.
Vr is'nt my thing. I tried several times, but got nauseaus really fast. I really love the metro universe. Have played the trilogy and read the books. Continue reading Metro books. So ... aww man. I don't like, that it's vr only :(

sadly metro vr i think also ruined a game from a indie dev called paradox of hope which while yes in a metro wasint even remotely looking or even didn't have any of the people you would know in it

the metro group/team removed paradox of hope and that's why I ain't buying the new vr metro because in my eyes it shows a lack of confidence on the metro team side
That was a very good game and this makes it clear why they killed PoH. The author is now doing a new game and has a trailer on steam.

@@cesarst3720 The game was named Paradox of Hope. The author was threaten with legal action to take it down from Steam. You can only see it on UA-cam now. :(
