i imagine he is in front of a reaper and the reaper is trying to indoctrinating him, but he resist and says "Im not falling for this, i want my 15 credits back and they told me to talk to you, you are not gonna get away with your tricks"
Conrad verner also helps with building of the crucible as he knows how to translate some material if you gathered the complete matriarch writings in mass effect 1. He is a PhD as it turns out.
I think you need to help someone else out in a side mission in ME1 in order for him to survive long enough to help, and in order to get the full warscore you need to assist a third person plus acquire a weapons license. That whole story arc was a bunch of trivial and inconsequential plot points paying off in a small way.
Man, when I first saw Garrus and Tali together near the end of ME3, I just had the widest smile on my face. It was like seeing your two best friends get together. Made me really happy knowing that when I died after the ending, Garrus wouldn't end up a virgin.
An explanation for how Shepard can hear the Rachni song across space. Since the Prothean Beacon Interaction and Cipher Shepard can feel like a Prothean and what they're hearing is the Rachni's cry for help. The Protheans also were able to communicate by touch and reading their environment with a 6th sense.
White pigeons or doves (in most languages referring to the same bird) are usually a symbol of peace or diplomacy. Makes sense to send doves to the Citadel, where all intelligent species meet. Though good intentions and symbolism can lead to unexpected consequences, like introducing invasive species.
Also, even if you find them annoying, they are familiar. They're present in almost every city on earth, so many people would be very familiar with pigeons and doves. So you'd have aliens asking humans about these birds and you'd get a whole variety of responses, some surprised, some annoyed, some happy and some hopeful. All of them being useful conversations to help aliens bond with humans and allow for opportunities of trade and commerce (or even love, but let's not pretend politicians give a toss about that).
The keeper walking away from the dead Krogan was one of the creepier moments for me. Makes a lot more sense at the end of 3, but I didn’t look at them the same way after seeing that vid.
Conrad can be saved during that interaction if you helped Rita’s sister Jenna in ME1! Cool little tie-in between the first and last game, but only if you did the seemingly random side quest. Please keep going on ME content, it’s rare to find anything new being posted so it’s great to see it come back :)
I think it makes more sense for the quest in ME3 to end in Conrad’s death. He absolutely idolized Shepard and he gives his life to save Shepard without hesitation.
I was going to sleep but a Mass Effect video is always something that can't be passed. And even though I know most of these, I still have to watch them simply because it's Mass Effect 😁
Most of these, I missed. Thank you! I liked Conrad. He was hella annoying at first, but he grew on me. He seemed like the kind of person who, although goofy and something of an idiot, was a lovable idiot. With a heart of gold, someone you could wake up at 3 am because your car broke down in a bad part of town, that kinda friend. In a circle of friends, Conrad would be the one who gets teased and is the butt of jokes, but if and when he's gone (i.e. accident, illness), he'll be missed.
literally just finished watching the first 3 secrets videos, keep these coming bro, and do more on other games too, maybe the resident evil franchise, Witcher 3, ghost of tsushima or god of war etc.. if there’s enough secrets in those games that is
Damn if it wasn't for the fact that I'm trying to romance Tali in my current playthough then yeah it definitely works for Garrus and her to be shipped. Damn that was hilarious. That aside it's interesting to find out EDI was the rogue VI from the Moon. I wasn't surprised but I didn't get to access that dialogue in my first playthrough of ME3.
I get why people shy away from videos these days. They oversaturate YT and usually come across as "10 things you absolutely didn't know" followed by 10 things literally anyone who's done the most basic playthrough would know. You do a fantastic job giving both one side step facts as well as incredibly niche facts all without the clickbait. I really hope you keep these going, they're great!
I like catchy titles as much as the next man but I find "you probably didn't know" titles to be a little bit insulting to a viewer's intelligence as many WILL know, so I avoid them where I can help it.
Kelly Chambers can actually die in more then one way in Mass Effect 3. If when talking to her about Cerberus, you pick one of the Renegade dialogue options, Shepard ends up ripping into her much worse then I thought he would, straight up calling her a traitor for feeding Illusive Man info while she was on the ship. This leads to her committing suicide before Cerberus ever attacks the Citadel. I found this out by accident and felt quite a bit like shit afterwards.
Yeah, some Renegade actions have consequences you come to regret. There is a fine line between being a hard@ss and a thug. OTOH, defenestrating that mook in ME2 was very satisfying.
On Luna in ME1, you can avoid being assaulted by the rocket launching turrets by not finishing the last rooms before going to the next bunker. Fight through all three without finishing until the third one and you can shut down the VI and never see them.
I love Mass Effect's world building. Even if I know most of these, I love watching your discussions on them. /v/ was never better than between ME2 and ME3, good memories brought back by your vids.
I have a question, in the "Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC after you save Liara's friend Feron, he sits in a room where there's a big empty canvas on the wall, sooo random but at the same time it seem is not... WHAT DOES THAT EMPTY CANVAS MEAN???? It drives me crazy.
Did you know, even though the Legendary edition uses Kelly's ME3 face instead of her original face, they still use Kelly's original face when talking to her in the Collector base.
2:31 if I remember correctly there's also another planet with rachni. I think this is the planet where you go hunt down Nassana's sister and it's near the mountains
There are more videos to see in the Lair of the Shadow Broker dlc. I believe there are three sets of videos. The ones mentioned in the video are the first. If you return after one mission and one mission only, you get the second, and if you return after only one mission you get the third.
I’m just watching this because you obviously really love this game in the same way you do Red Dead. Well, not in the same way, but as much, perhaps? It’s that you enjoy it so much that makes the videos so good.
9:39 Ok you got me with that one, definitely didn't know Yeoman Chambers was a freak like that! Tali has some waifu competition for my next playthrough lol
I am a massive completionist and will do every single quest and side mission possible, and when it comes to Conrad Verner, if you have a ridiculous amount of prerequisites fulfilled when finally meeting him in the third game for the last time, I'm talking a bunch of really petty side quests like finding all the matriarch writings, talking to and keeping specific NPC'S alive and having the Elkoss shop licence from the very first game, it turns out he has PHD in xenoscience quantum physics and can have his dissertation added to the research for the crucible for a whopping 1% addition to your War Assets
That 1% could mean the difference between getting the best ending possible in ME3 or not though in terms of War Assets given that there's a hard threshold needed for some parts of the endgame cutscene to actually show up the way the play wants them to.
@@MegaRazorback I really am a serious, and I mean *serious* completionist. Ive actually maxed out my war asset score and at a certain point, there's no mechanical reason to pursue all these missions and sidequests, other than my personal gratification My paragon score and credit limit could be at max, and I'll still go out of my way to get the results that includes the most pay or paragon points

I knew about EDI but had no idea what the binary code message was...thanks! That shadow broker video of Anderson has always bugged me and I wish they would have explained it.

For the Tali/Garrus romance, I really wanted the option to tell Garrus "Break her heart and I break the other half of your face. Assuming you're still alive after she gets her shotgun."
Cool so on behalf of men that also get their hearts broken by females, I would want an option to tell Tali "Break his heart and I'll rip off that mask" It's only fair.
I think I saw those pigeon-looking birds on multiple planets, maybe they are alien or pigeons somehow became an invasive species like pyjaks and varren, I see how would be difficult to remove them when Citadel has so much space and access to water
Maybe you should do more Mass Effect videos in general maybe the reason your Red Dead videos are so popular compared to others is because its more in depth on specific theories and mysterious i don't know maybe I'm wrong your a good UA-camr and i think you can do more than Red Dead Redemption videos but that's just my opinion
Hell yeah! I've got a little video talking about the one thing Mass Effect 1 does better than any game I've played to come, too. Can't wait to get working on it - I doubt it'll take long
