That's a HUGE step to get the demo done. I'm happy you're feeling good about the progress. I just showed my wife your channel and we're cheering you on from the Beehive State, Utah. We're excited to follow along. Best wishes!
Dang, this couple are really hard workers! Just emptying the rooms is a lot of messy, difficult, filthy work and they did it all by themselves and did a great job.
Wow that’s my dream to live in an old warehouse. I don’t know if you guys ever thought about it for the next reno, but you could have an “unsale” for clean out. People can come “shop” and have anything they want for free. Only rule is Just don’t leave a tornado of a mess and it can save yall a good bit of work.
"It has to get done, I have no choice" then Bo turns on her high speed clean machine. There's nothing better than a thoughtful demolition man, who's ready for beer.
There is a LOT of good, and useful stuff in there, throw out the rubbish, and think twice about getting rid of things you may need later, and doesn't come to mind now.. another idea, why not invite some friends over to help you clean out, then at the end of it all, have a nice BBQ to finish off the day, and a show of appreciation to the help.. 🙂🙂
Incredible progress! Kyle is a Beast! You all worked your selves to distraction! Great going! I honestly cannot wait to see what y'all have in store for the next phase!
Omg the fear in your eyes when you said "Let's get cleaning!"...😭 But really, y'all have proved if you just start somewhere and keep going.... you'll get the job done! Amazing work and I can't wait to see how this project progresses!
Omg that is such an amazing space !!!! I have always wanted to live in a space like that . There’s a million different things that you can do in there . Are you guys going to restore all the outside brick ? And I have always loved exposed brick inside apartments, lofts, etc.
Currently I live in the Detroit suburbs and when I lived in California I lived in a work studio loft in a warehouse. I would love to have a space like that again. I wish I had the capital or skills you guys have to do what you do.
Can you talk about the zoning? Was it commercial when you bought it? Did you check ahead of time that it could be zoned for living? How does that process work?
I always wonder this. Cause if it's zoned industrial you legally cannot live in the building. But if you know anything about Detroit the city is really hands off cause there are so many other problems to enforce other than pedantic zoning laws.
I just want to say you have the coolest husband and your one very very pretty lady and I can’t wait to see what you both do with this warehouse to house
lol every time you walked past the fridge and you say “the fridge is still here” oh I totally understand what you saying long time ago I work for restoration company and there was a fridge that was not open and it was loaded with item in the fridge and freezer too. It was not easy cleaning it out. The smell was to much to deal with I couldn’t do it. Someone else had to.
Love what you guys are doing with this building, but please work on your video skills, very hard to watch when it’s bumpy! Can’t wait to see outcome though👍🏼
I cut the carpet in square and bag them ezer that ware I don't have to touch it but i bug b spray it first the day before a saw saw will cut thos wall down faster
I love that you guys are doing this. I have thought about doing the same thing. Seen an episode of American Pickers and there was a Guy on there who owned several conjoined warehouses. He even had a little train on tracks, to get to each property 😆. I'm just wondering how much it cost to buy one of these properties. If you view these messages and answer questions... I'd love to know. I'm a contractor, but.. I have been going through numerous surgeries and other procedures over the past 3 half years, still have a ways to go. This is definitely a thing I would love to do. ❤
It really depends on the condition of the building, we got a pretty good deal on this one but as you can see there is A LOT of work to do to make it livable again
Who would just leave this type of stuff laying around?! I’m SUPER curious about the real backstory on this place! The food (both old & new), the old radio still on, the jars of Mary left behind, the creepy monster figure head on the shelf, etc. Has to have some elaborate tale behind this big historic place- it’s not called “Mystery on Mack” for nothing! 😂
Ha ! I had already Subscribed before She said to. ;-) My 2nd vid for this channel. It would be fun if they organized a regional Help-Out day. I would be wiling , just across the Mitten from Motor City .
How are they going to heat this place. Looks like way more than 4000 square feet, how will they afford to put in new floors, paint. The cost is going to be astronomical. I hope they discuss the costs. If not will lose interest,
We will do a cost break down later on after we move in! There's no point to list off our systems because of theft ! Alot of eye watching us and we've been broken into on almost every reno! Plus the cost won't be as terrible as you think!
Couldn't you possibly flip some or most of the materials previous occupants left behind in this warehouse? You could have made some bucks flipping them. Unless you are not bothered going that route!
Can't burn wood with coated finishes...and, BURNING OF BUILDING MATERIALS Air quality and solid waste regulations prohibit open burning of construction and demolition waste.
They must not be native to Detroit because there is no way in hell I would move to Mack Ave. I was born and raised in Detroit and I know the city very well. I hope they Are making this video just for UA-cam and not actually moving in that area.

Awesome! Thank you!
I love those old windows . I know they are not energy efficent ,,,, but stiil awesome for the old school vibe .
Mom is definitely a warrior. She pulled the carpet in a tank top.. 😱😷…
Marty is the absolute best!!! She always goes head first into our projects!!
She gave no f's. Completely old school.
Dang, this couple are really hard workers! Just emptying the rooms is a lot of messy, difficult, filthy work and they did it all by themselves and did a great job.
They way she cleared out that bedroom and bath... 🤯
Where's the help?
I love seeing the city get rejuvenated. I love the architecture of older buildings. Keep it up.
More to come!
oh my goodness... that backyard and those windows. get a small pool and hot tub... yes!
Wow!!! What a project. Overwhelming!!! Good luck, I will be watching and cheering you on!!!
Those big green eyes would get you ALL the drinks in the bar!!!!!!
This is amazing! Turning a warehouse into your home! Wow! Can’t wait to see the finished project ❤❤
I love decluttering even tho it can be overwhelming.

Hahaha many beers! Thanks for the love!
just be yourself. Great investment. lot of work, but it can be done. very inspirational
Woe, just found your channel, glad to be here, cheers from Canada.
Welcome aboard! There’s so much more to come!
I feel like Kyle should be wearing work boots with steel toes🫣
That sledgehammer has my anxiety up, crossing my fingers that they don’t take down a low bearing post.😬🤞🏽😂

This is a thrilling job.!!. You guys are going to enjoy all the poss.
Awesome project. More videos please.
New videos are live!
You could build a lot of things with the stairs. Save 💰
Why burn 🔥
I saw a Fender Rhodes electric piano next to the other piano…don’t throw it away, sell it!
Incredible progress! Kyle is a Beast! You all worked your selves to distraction! Great going! I honestly cannot wait to see what y'all have in store for the next phase!
Look at Marty with the guns!! 💪
Amazing how fast you got it cleaned out & demo' Ed! That must have been a ton of work!
We were working non stop!
You all are an amazing team!
wow, those eyes! id follow anywhere, even rehabbin in detroit!
Thanks, you said it for me too.
I’m getting contact vibes (which makes it much less appealing). But she’s still beautiful & seems like a beautiful person regardless
Those are contacts, i have those exact ones
Omg the fear in your eyes when you said "Let's get cleaning!"...😭 But really, y'all have proved if you just start somewhere and keep going.... you'll get the job done! Amazing work and I can't wait to see how this project progresses!
Pretty bad ass warehouse
Thank you!!
Omg where to start so much work, watching from Australia
Trust us! We were overwhelmed too!
So fun! I wish this was closer and I’d volunteer.
I’d skip the beer though. Alcohol is wretchedly horrible for your microbiome.
My bad, now I see you with the hardhats!!! Good job!
Omg that is such an amazing space !!!! I have always wanted to live in a space like that . There’s a million different things that you can do in there . Are you guys going to restore all the outside brick ? And I have always loved exposed brick inside apartments, lofts, etc.
Make sure to follow along to see 😉
Wow you guys got a lot done👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽great job!
I know exactly where this is... I love to organize and would have came to help you guys .
This was so sweet.
There are lots of foundations that take pianos restore and give to needy schools and musicians
Currently I live in the Detroit suburbs and when I lived in California I lived in a work studio loft in a warehouse. I would love to have a space like that again. I wish I had the capital or skills you guys have to do what you do.
Holly Sh*t, I cleaned out a 2-story barn 70 ' x70' times 2 and I thought that was a big job!
Good job 🇩🇰📣🇺🇸
I’m a sucker for long-term rehab projects. I sub to a French chateau channel and now you! ❤
White tintop table! Keep it for the kitchen! The best for making pastry and baking!
With your startlingly lovely eyes you'd get drinks!👀
What a great garden!🌲🌿🍀 Love the pink and white tile kitchen floor but I'm a Boomer and am attached to the look!😍
We kept it!! Using it now actually as my desk haha

Hope I don't miss anything I'm in for the long haul.my dad use to do that stuff got me involved in the big reval 😊
I just want to say you have the coolest husband and your one very very pretty lady and I can’t wait to see what you both do with this warehouse to house
Thank you so much!!
It nice you have a garage to protect your car that good and it not to bad
So much light coming off all those windows upstairs after taking everything out of there
Sooooo much light! It's one of my favorite parts!
God bless Kyle's mother for helping you remove that nasty carpet!!!
She's the absolute best!!
Nice project, it would be great if you mention the cost associated with each step of the way :D
We're doing a lot of the work ourselves so it's hard to estimate cost and with the help of our family and friends! But we will do a break down soon!
lol every time you walked past the fridge and you say “the fridge is still here” oh I totally understand what you saying long time ago I work for restoration company and there was a fridge that was not open and it was loaded with item in the fridge and freezer too. 6-9-24. It’s NOT about the expiration date. It is about the collectors item value for the cans.
Interesting!!!
Love what you guys are doing with this building, but please work on your video skills, very hard to watch when it’s bumpy! Can’t wait to see outcome though👍🏼
Yea so much movement makes me 🤢. Camera parked on a stand and sped up work is great. Way too much conversation and selfies. Great project though
I cut the carpet in square and bag them ezer that ware I don't have to touch it but i bug b spray it first the day before a saw saw will cut thos wall down faster

How do you know when walls are load bearing or not?
Hey was that Mary Jane in those jars on the table ?
It was, Michigan is a legal state, we found like 8 jars
Who would just leave this type of stuff laying around?! I’m SUPER curious about the real backstory on this place! The look on her face when she saw the bathroom......lol. She was NOT happy.
this is my new fav channel.. please tell us you opened that safe? 2:32
Hi beautiful Bo, I would like to know what the building was used for before you bought it.
This is awesome. What happened to the previous owner that all the stuff is left in there.
They were an older couple and one of them fell ill
@@woodwardthrowbacks well that's sad, but what you two are doing is very exciting, I love watching!
How’s the roof? Just subscribed because this looks like an awesome project.
Roof is new!....ish haha thanks for following along!
Ha ! I had already Subscribed before She said to. ;-) My 2nd vid for this channel. It would be fun if they organized a regional Help-Out day. I would be wiling , just across the Mitten from Motor City .
So none of that was load bearing?
Congrat for the Rosa park build … I am glad it is African who purchased this in Auction 😊
Wow! Lots of snarky comments
@13:25 I yelled with you.
The collective "ewwww" is tangible for sure
You should get some grant money for interns to work on transforming some of the eligible stuff.
I am loving this process, however i an also wanting to know our skin care girl.. lord you have beautiful skin
Yall nd more men!!!
I want to know how did this entire warehouse become so filthy and disorganized. Where their a lot of people living there.?
Why doesn’t his parents have on the hasmat suits?
More building footage with voice-overs & less putting the camera on YOU.
So where u guys from
Great project. If possible, try to stop saying LIKE so damn much.
Wishing you the best and I mean that sincerely.
So the previous owners were already living in it 🤔🤔🤔
Why is there so much stuff? It’s like one day the people that lived there just vanished? Did they die ?
I lived a block away in 98' It had lush vegetable gardens in portable containers.
Any issues with Asbestos? Pray not :-)
Sell all you can so the $'s you make you can put back into the place.
How are they going to heat this place. Looks like way more than 4000 square feet, how will they afford to put in new floors, paint. The cost is going to be astronomical. I hope they discuss the costs. If not will lose interest,

get the piano appraised
Y’all need to WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES
I dont even know how you can stand keeping those contact lens on while doing all that toxic work...my eyes would be burning up and dry asf afterwards.
Couldn't you possibly flip some or most of the materials previous occupants left behind in this warehouse? You could have made some bucks flipping them. Unless you are not bothered going that route!
We sold and kept some furniture and made a collection of credenzas from some of the wood!
@@woodwardthrowbacks
Brilliant!
Can't burn wood with coated finishes...and, BURNING OF BUILDING MATERIALS
Air quality and solid waste regulations prohibit open burning of
construction and demolition waste.
@@quasimodo96 We only burn NON treated wood
A treadmill and a piano, Two problems. Sorry.
They must not be native to Detroit because there is no way in hell I would move to Mack Ave. I was born and raised in Detroit and I know the city very well. I hope they Are making this video just for UA-cam and not actually moving in that area.
They have a store/design studio in Hamtramck. I think they know a thing or two about the city.
Wouldn’t be a proper clean out without the ubiquitous heavy as sh#t piano ;-)
I hope y'all didn't donate that old food.
Nahhhh we had to trash it! If they were good I would have !
Hey, can you please not burn chemical treated wood. It would be greatly appreciated. Love the vids but yah stop doing that
I did not see any pressure treated wood
Trust us! We're not burning any pressure treated lumber!!
U can ask better than that! Foh
Like you vids but you talk to much 😂
is it just me, or is sis really not doing anything 'cept filming...👁👁😏🤭
Lots of salvage
