The Achilles scene is a pain to watch because it is really stretched out to avoid the fact that the hasbro version of Achilles didnt have all the mechanics that the Japanese Achilles did. And they keep doing that and avoiding lines that mention such stuff for any bey

I think this happened because of studio switch in the 3rd season. The first and second seasons were dubbed by Oceans Productions in Canada while the rest of the seasons are being handled by Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

The OG Beyblade (from beyblade all the way to beyblade g revolution) is seriously underrated, I’m just gonna say the character designs and characters themselves were so much cooler looking than any beyblade series after. The very first season is just *chef’s kiss* I’ve even rewatched it a few times because it’s just that good. The og beyblade desperately needs more love, no other beyblade protagonist holds a candle to Tyson (for me personally) he just gives off so much *CHAD* energy. If you haven’t seen the og beyblade anime yet, jfc go watch it now! (jk not forcing you but I recommend it) It’s free in English here on UA-cam but you can watch sub (has more censored scenes that didn’t appear on the English dub) if you prefer that.
Well tbf on the name stuff , beys like Satan , Lucifer and Hades had pretty evil names . No parent would buy a toy named kreis Satan . And let's be honest dread Hades is still a really cool name . Although diabolos should have stayed the same because devolos sounds way worse and more evil
its to generate engagement perhaps? by showing OG series, they are trying to get older fans to comment by tugging on their nostalgia. By showing burst, they want the engagement of newer/younger fans. And by not talking about metal series they are getting metal fans to talk in comments which drives up the viewer engagement and more views etc.
Some honorable mentions in my opinion ken almost falling off a cliff in the original burst valt farting during the introduction to the bey club during the team battles in burst Now manga the scar on Shu’s eye and the injury free had during the international/god bladers cup
As well as free giving the middle finger to phi in the manga, valt hitting the tree when he lost valtryek (I would say when the things on aiger’s training machine almost hit him but that was pure iron so that makes sense to edit out)

There’s a censor in Metal Fury where in The English Dub. The two Garcia brothers, Argo and Ian had a “fight” with their 2 siblings Selen and Enzo. It was a fight where Selen and Enzo wanted to part away from the evil stuff they do in Beyblade and left them. But in the Japanese Version. In the fight, Ian has slapped both of them across the face while Tsubasa, Masamune, Toby and Zeo watched.

Tbh the script in the dub was pretty bad now that I'm re-watching the first three seasons, full of mediocre puns and stripped out of any meaningful character growth, the original japanese version can make that a story about a children's tops game actually entertaining and a pretty dark one too.

What's dumb is that Hasbro STILL kept Union Achilles' sword removal and placement gimmick, yet it was *still* censored in the anime. The only things that makes the most sense are the religious name changes (every season), the references to death (in burst), and the old guy sniffing clothes being removed. Everything else were useless changes imo.

Outside of Name Changes the Metal Saga had very little changes anime wise, despite being to me the darkest iteration in the franchise. The english dub for the most part was also fateful to the original japanese dialogue (I repeat, for the most part) Even something like Kyoya getting impaled by L-Drago to Ryuga's death wasn't cut out for US viewers. Though part could be it airing on Cartoon Network in the US, compared to the more stricter Disney for the OG and Burst anime.
I definitely wouldn't have wanted to see miguel get knocked out but I would have loved to see rasputin make a beyblade. Duel monsters has flashbacks to ancient Egypt but beyblade having historical figures let it rip that would be kinda awesome.

What's dumb is that Hasbro STILL kept Union Achilles' sword removal and placement gimmick, yet it was *still* censored in the anime. The only things that makes the most sense are the religious name changes (every season), the references to death (in burst), and the old guy sniffing clothes being removed. Everything else were useless changes imo.

Beyblade actually looks better than most anime.
Outside of Name Changes the Metal Saga had very little changes anime wise, despite being to me the darkest iteration in the franchise. The english dub for the most part was also fateful to the original japanese dialogue (I repeat, for the most part) Even something like Kyoya getting impaled by L-Drago to Ryuga's death wasn't cut out for US viewers. Though part could be it airing on Cartoon Network in the US, compared to the more stricter Disney for the OG and Burst anime.

I definitely wouldn't have wanted to see miguel get knocked out but I would have loved to see rasputin make a beyblade. Duel monsters has flashbacks to ancient Egypt but beyblade having historical figures let it rip that would be kinda awesome.
