Thanks so much, i failed to do this as my cable wouldnt come out and nearly destroyed cable, but now i see your method where u leave cable in and just push parts out this is what i shall try now thank you
@@billyeverything7083 i did it brother thanks to you, i give you shoutout in my install video, you shall see that on my channel in 2 weeks hopefully :p, thanks again brother i gave up all hope until i tried this alternative method of yours
Great video Billy, makes it look easy. My 2013 f30 has ambient light and brightness control but no option to select the color of the light. It just says orange. Any idea if I'll be able to switch to the blue light?
@@luiszanotelle3103 I didn't have any luck trying to switch it to blue, also it gets really bright at night so had to lower the brightness of all internal lights to get it down to a soothing tone
Yep you are right, that’s the point of my channel, I’m my viewers lab rat. And an tutorial proofing that anyone watching this can do what I do, even those without experiences!
i dont have the little oem led at the buttom and know?! not all cars did that have but it should fit to all these cars ?! there is no information on sellers page to that problem! what can i do know? no video tutorial i found?!
If you don't have the oem led (which only comes with the lighting package or the premium package) then it's much more complicated, last time I looked into it you have to cut wires and retrofit in stead of plug and work
Do you know what that extra blue cable is for on the new LED AC panel? I think you just let it hang there but doesn't that kinda need to be secured somehow?
I think that is for people to do their own wiring work if they don't have the connectors already for some reason. It probably is a good idea to secure it, but I didn't because I didn't think it was necessary.
Hello guys i have also done this mod, have developed issues since so the panal works and changes colour . However my Radio /AC panal now shows no sign of life , my streeing wheel controls + indicators are also not working and the light control panal is not working. I have try to plug and unplug the cable going into the radio as thst was the only one i unpluged but no luck snyone have any ideas on what have done , what i could do to repair this? Thank you in advance

Wow so lucky you never damaged any parts. I can see you've watched many videos but have zero experience.
