What truly matters is how has it impacted your life? I wept when I saw The Messenger Christmas Special. The scene where Joseph moved animal turd. The Babe was born. I can point to so many scenes that just directly transported me to the moment in His Story when it really happened. On the other side we’ll probably bump into so many who will say, remember when…see you in the New Jerusalem

I love how the Chosen shows Jesus on a Human level. The show brought Jesus into a different light for my wife and I. We always new he was our Savior, but it was easy to forget he experienced humanity with us. And, that fact alone brings us so much closer to Him because we realize he was "one of us".

One of my favorite episodes is the woman at the well. I cry every time he says "I see you". That whole episode is a reminder that He sees women and what we go through. The first time I saw it, I was going through a difficult divorce with all kinds of problems that went through it. It was a wonderful reminder for me. I know that He sees what I go through and is there with me. I knew it. I knew that Christ had been with me during that time, but that episode was such a direct reminder to me. I can't even say how many times I have watched the whole show. Each time I get something out of it that I needed to be reminded of.
The same for me! It was the same feeling for me. I’m 67 saw many “Jesus” movies, never was I affected by something coming out of the TV. You all are touching lives❤
64 and I feel the same. The only other show that came close was The Prince of Egypt and that was an animation! The chosen has been a return to Joy and a renewal of faith.

I’m 64 as well, born into a charismatic Christian home, parents were missionaries, grandfather and grandmother pastors/leaders, and I’ve never felt the love of Jesus stronger than I do now, and I contribute a lot of that to The Chosen series. I am always encouraging people to watch it. Unfortunately, the religious spirit has a grip on many, and they’re not open or receptive to it.
I pray for eyes to be opened, and veils to be lifted 🙏🏼

Just hearing Brandon talk about that S1E1 moment made me tear up. Yes, such a holy moment. I was dumbstruck and mesmerized by that moment and what followed. I'm a Chosen fan forever!
Tear off the Roof is very near and dear to my heart; it was a promise that I made my sister to get her treatment for cancer; I told her I would tear off the roof to get her to THE HEALER!!!! This song is such a gift because few understand that when you tear off the roof, you lower them into the Lord but you remain the watchman. What a gift.

I will never forget how strong the presence of the Holy Spirit felt in the theater when Brandon sang Gratitude. Combine that with the monologues and film, it was just transformative. Christmas took on a much deeper meaning. So excited for Holy Night and all that comes with this event. 🙌🏻💝🕊️✨

Both Brandon’s song and the moment with Jesus and Mary in episode 1 wrecked me the first time I saw/heard them and continue to wreck me each and every time I watch/listen. Thank you for using the gifts God has given you in such profound ways….
The song Gratitude impacted me so much during the Christmas special I could not get it out of my head and eventually it became the song for my advanced ballet dancers for our 2023 recital. The theme of the recital even became Gratitude. It was the rawness and growl in your voice Brandon that just spoke to me so deeply. Now this year, two of my dance students came to me wanting to do a duet and brought me the song Tear off the roof, which I hadn't even heard yet. It brought me to tears! So moving! I, too, love S1 EP3, because I have always felt that Jesus must've been full of joy - how else would children be so attracted to him and want to be with him. That episode amplified my belief of Jesus being approachable, especially by children.

We are on our 4th round watching The Chosen. It’s like I can’t get enough of Jesus. I have become more of a Jesus girl than I ever could have imagined. I am so grateful for this show. It really did take the Bible from black and white to color for me as well.

Exactly what Brandon said about chosen. Our women’s small group decided do The Chosen season 1 as our Bible study. I experienced a similar moments of time while watching the first one!! It was an awakening for me, and I often do deep dives into the Bible now.
I LOVE the episode of Jesus with the children, it was so beautiful, there's no other word I can think of.
As a recovering heroin fentanyl addict,.. there are certain scenes that touched my soul such as the lady tearing her clothes off and swimming to her freedom ...❤ That was more powerful than people who has never been violated or their self through death of life, still breathing,...I am clean from fentanyl and Suboxone and all mental health meds after 20 yeara of addiction... he is real ❤the holy spirit is healing me when nothing else did... to God be the glory 🙏💪❤️

exactly my thoughts Dallas, "should I? I don't think it's going to be good", after the 3rd episode I couldn't stop seeing anymore and like Brandon said, me and my husband start crying, I am closer to God than ever, reading the bible and actually enjoying it...chosen really touch me and the wave of energy I felt, is unexplainable, and I have never been the same since then.

The first time I heard Gratitude was in the Chosen Christmas release in the theater. I cannot tell you any other song in that film but I remember this one so, so clearly. Goosebumps…. This song has been so powerful and I love y’all sharing this chat with us. ❤

I just watched, 'Tear off the roof' and before it takes me to that place of speechless awe that I go to evertime Jesus takes the loaves and fish, blesses it and transforms it into everything I need to take me through what I am going through, like only He can, I just want to say... What a gift! The combination of the visuals of The Chosen and the lyrics of the song... so powerful and so fitting! Shalom, When I was a kid I loved a song called "Put Your Hand in the Hand"(of the man who stills the water) by Ocean. Another favorite was the Edwin Hawkins Singers "Oh Happy Day" and a band called O. C. Supertones. Let's never forget Norman Greenbaum" , "Spirt in the Sky". I'm surprised and delighted every episode I watch. I also love the episode with Jesus and the children. I watch it over and over. How the Jesus character is affected by the childrens' reciting. That must be how God feels every time his children praise him!!! As a life-long Christian, The Chosen has touched me more than anything else in my life. It has truly changed my life!!! That is exactly the way I felt but couldn’t put it into words….It was like at that very moment Jesus walked into my room and called my name when He said Mary’s name. The show has renewed my faith and revived my spirit after years of feeling so far away from Him. There aren’t enough words of gratitude to the writers and actors who have manifested THE Jesus I fell in love with so many years ago.

We just came back from watching the Christmas movie tonight and I cried throughout it. I worshiped along with Brandon and cried a long with others in the audience. I literally experienced the Holy Spirits presence the entire time.

When I watched The Chosen's Christmas special, it was the first time that I had even heard Brandon Lake. When I heard him sing Gratitude, I had a major Holy Spirit moment an balled like a baby. It is my number 2 absolute favorite song behind "I Can Only Imagine". I have shared Gratitude with so many. It is so powerful.
So true. My brother recommended the Chosen a few years ago when it started and I just thought “ok, probably another Jesus show that is done half baked.” But WOW! I felt i needed to share with you....I have never stopped watching Chosen since first time❤🙏🏻 there's a reason...EVERY single time I watch it I see something different! I'm not making this up Lol! I think maybe it comes to a person kinda like the Bible does!?? You know everytime you hear message preached that Blesses you, you can hear that same message all your life and you will get a different perspective Every Single TIME! Or when you ready or study Bible, Always different meaning to you. Brandon's song gratitude was introduced to me after a 10 day hospital of fighting and continue to fight, lung infections "lion in my lungs". The Chosen came at a time of another different hard time and has given the walking talking Bible. So we'll done.

I heard Gratitude on the album, before the Chosen Christmas special, and it was my favorite song on the album. I didn't realize it wasn't already a hit. When I watched the Christmas special, when Brandon finished his song, half the people in the theatre clapped. It was the only song everyone clapped on. The whole special was awesome, but Brandon's song was so powerful and it reached everyone in the theatre.
I watched the first episode and cried like a baby. I knew he had captured my heart.

I remember when seeing The Messengers in the theater last year of course how amazing it was but when we heard the song Gratitude 😊I said to my good friend sitting next to me "listen to the words in this song !"
Thank you SO much for making this convo a stand alone video. What Dallas and Brandon were saying about God telling the Israelites to "encamp" really hit a MAJOR cord with me. Now I can go back and listen to it whenever i think of it without having to find it in the stream.

I watched the Christmas story last night at our local DOVER, De theater. Brandon’s song brought down the Holy Spirit upon me like I never felt before. When Brandon sings with Elevation, Chris and Tiffany- they make such a great team together. Keep it up Brandon- May God continue to bless you.
Love this. My grandkids put their little hands up in praise when Gratitude comes on. It is the sweetest thing ever. My 14 year old granddaughter- a freshman this year- said The Chosen helped her so much. It helped her to better understand and got her through a rough time.

And I'm glad to hear this conversation to know your heart is in the right place. May it ever be so. It's a fine line in this culture to remain humble and true to The One Who has blessed you with such talent and notoriety. . .Have to add that "Graves Into Gardens is a powerful worship song for me as well. And the first time I heard "Count 'em" on the radio I had to find that cd. So much truth in the lyrics that mirror The Word and power of Holy Spirit!
O my goodness Brandon Lake watching The Chosen Christmas DVD and Gratitude! Wow loved your performance and energy. Phenomenal performances for all involved and I get chills every time I listen to your music. Such talent and I watched tearing off the roof. My late husband grew up in Old City Jerusalem and we went there 3 years in a row! Honor and respect for everyone whom I met. Such a special place. Meant so much to see all the sets that Dallas has made in Utah. We didn’t quite make our 4th anniversary. He had past stage 4 Cancer, but I know God put him in my life so that I had the best tour guide ever especially for where Jesus walked. Body wide chills every time I went to holy sepulcher!

Thanksgiving 2021, I found out I had covid and binged the chosen series and fell back in love with Jesus, had just lost my 33 yr old son in September 2021,and had nothing left , someone said "I saw the light leave your eyes", I've sought Jesus ever since ,The Chosen has helped me get closer and Brandon's music alone and with Elevation worship has inspired me to do more service and let Jesus heal my brokenness,thank you both for all you do ,praise God bless you both in everything you touch
