I’ve still got my blue ice 16” desktop fan from the late 90s. It’s the best fan I’ve ever owned and there isn’t much that comes close without spending an absolute fortune!

I feel the same as I acquired a CED 12” which I’ve been after ever since my 12” Blue Ice broke. Are you going to put the logo back to how it was? So many questions. Also, the original manufacturer of these fans is SMC.
My KDK desk fan oscillates just in one direction (but 90 degrees). How could I get it oscillate symmetrically please? Thank you very much for any advise.
Some KDK’s have 5 way oscillation, which means the head can be manually positioned to face any direction within 180 degrees and will oscillate for 90. Try moving the head towards the position you want it in - you should hear a click as it clicks into place

3:28 judging by the blade cap its a 1996 Blue Ice 16" fan (i could be wrong, it may be earlier then 1996)

Those were sold in South Africa under the SMC brand.
Yes they were badged SMC more widely than Blue Ice, I believe the same went for the US version too
I have the desk one now and I use on a daily basis and very powerful fan then the plastic cheap ones that push nothing out
