I’ve always enjoyed this story. It can be as edgy as it wants, because it’s literally the biff casino universe that the flash needs to change. No matter what Barry still has hope to change the world through the whole story and I think that’s how he should be written
My last memory of flashpoint is hearing someone who watched the flashpoint movie with a friend saying it was stupid seeing barry scar himself with the failed lightning strike then doing it again.
Yea it doesn’t really make sense. He did it once, didn’t work. He did it again, worked. Never explained what the difference between the two attempts. You’d think that as a scientist, he would have a more scientific approach
I wouldn't mind seeing you do the tie-ins. Also, I think this was supposed to be just a five-part flash story, but DC wanted a reboot and this story just so happened to be the perfect excuse to do it. Either way, the new 52 happened and changed the DC universe and that's how it is. Good video!
ive already read the graphic novel, but your narration and the voice acting made this a whole different experience. this video a great way to recap flashpoint without having to sit down and read it again
One thing I've always been confused about, tho. At the end of Flashpoint here, Bruce and Barry know each other, as they've always had but later in the New 52 JL Origin story, they meet for the first time.
It's because Barry emerged in 2011 and he met Bruce on 06 as of the New 52 timeline, hence why Justice League Origin opens with the "5 Years Ago" banner.
Even outside of comics, you could really find out if you are in an lternate reality pretty quick by asking enough people if they know who Batman and Superman
As someone who wasn't a big Flash fan this story really made want to invest more into his stories. Saying that reading this the first time and Papa Bruce's letter made me sob like a baby lmao. Great video and an easy subscribe!
I prefer everything about the comic over the movie except for the letter. I like it better when Batman takes off his mask to read it from the very beginning showing it was always Bruce reading it instead of Batman and then Bruce when he takes Gaia mask off halfway through.

Then instead of waking up in his office and realizing That he doesn't have his flash ring. But then again people do have their own opinions

A decade to make Reverse Flash the most pointless villain in the DCAMU in contrast to the comic, to say the least, where he revealed that everything was to make himself a living paradox. Then much later, Hell to Pay comes out, and we get a failed attempt to make Reverse Flash significant. The Flashpoint comic is so much better
