Honestly, probably Toro Y Moi's best effort yet, love the blend of the new and old, a lot of different sounds. "Deja Vu" almost sounds like a Pavement song to me, never would have expected that from this group!

really love everything about the new record and awesome performance as usual! it's funny though how the editor decided to include only the 6:18 moment out of the whole loop song ha. don't get me wrong, i love it and this even gives me some weird confidence as an aspiring musician, cause mistakes are totally cool. but that editing choice is so funny 🥲
im kinda disappointed how in every toro y moi interview, the interviewers always ask him really boring questions. it's usually just stuff that he's already said verbatim in other interviews, the only interesting segment here was when they brought in questions from actual fans through mail. i guess it's a nitpick, but i would love to see someone who genuinely cares about his music to interview him and throw him something that would give us some unique insight
