20th century comes to the US, finally! omg i hate central cooling / heating systems, it's simply the worst and stupid! everyone in the house must accept the temperature someone's set, splits are the best, cool it or heat it when and where you personally want it, no need to steal the ceilings height as well, love it so much
I work in ac in the US, these have been around in America for a while. They just break down a lot quicker so nobody buys them
@@awsomea77bro I lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 years. Had the same system never broke down once and it’s literally turned on 24/7
@MohamedAhmed-wc3pw ok and I live in Houston and we also run it 24/7 and an ac unit here lasts at least 15 years and those mini splits tend to do about 8 years
@@MohamedAhmed-wc3pw 5 years isn't much of a testing period at all
is this channel just infomercials now?
Whatever pays the bills
Yeah I guess miss the jon4lakers days 😢
In Europe it is the most popular, way to install the AC. I bought it 2 years ago for my apartment. It changes the comfort of living in the summer. 🔥
Most of the Europe uses these, they are relatively cheap good quality and very convenient. Very good review. 🤞❤️
Summers keep getting warmer and with my central AC my second floor gets tough to cool down. I’ve been looking at something like this and looks like a great solution.
A previous owner of my house opened up the attic as a 2nd floor, but didn’t do a great job getting the AC to work up there. Been thinking of getting something like this for up there
I’ll love one of these unit to put in my room since the room where I sleep the air does not reach.
I would love an A/C unit like this. I live on the coast, so not every house gets A/C but there are some days where it would be nice to have a mini ac unit.
This is is a originally OEM made by Midea. I havs the same remote on both of my Midea ACs. This is extremely popular i Europe for heating and cooling.
We also use even better refregerant R32.
These Midea mini-splits are great. Took so long to get adapted in the US
So tired of breaking my back moving and installing window units, I really need this. But the ridiculously expensive pro install that’s required prevents it. They should make a DIY version
I live in Mombasa which is a coastal city, Which means that I would be installing the AC on my studio apartment to help with cool the house...
Your videos are always well shot.
I’m building an aircrete dome. This would work great!
I need to invest in this. I am absolute toast. The whole apartment. Toast!
I love you jon. Been watching since techno buffalo back in like 2012ish. Always love your content.
I am going abroad for higher education so I’d spend the money on that. Also love your content as always!🙌
Need this for our family living room
Love form india
yes
To be honest i need it a lot but the one who need it the most is my dog, not supporting too much summer..
I need this for my parents house
I need this for my room.. Currently its 90 inside 😢
Nice video Jon!
Sunroom!
With thee $500, I’d definitely buy $500 worth of HVAC filters because apparently living out in the sticks of Florida, pollen and dust is abundant 😢
Surprised this is new to American 😮
I need ac in my house it too hot over here
Wow, it’s actually not as expensive as I was expecting. Now the install on the other hand…
wait what, can't believe the us think this is a new thing now, mini split as been in a lot of homes for at least 30+ years😂and in a lot of places around the world... those central ac companies do be ripping the us citizens big time~
I wanted to install one of these in my room because the master is the hottest room in the house but the price is a lot lol help me John!
OMG 😳..... I'm soooooo hot in Jamaica I would put this in my room for sure or in the living room so the whole family can enjoy this, but this is soooo Cool 😎 I like it
The UK is in a heatwave right now and most UK homes don’t have air conditioning. I have work tomorrow and can sleep, I am the guy you described. On top of the sheets, melting. Air conditioning in the bedroom is a dream.
Our old farmhouse could really use something like this. Cooling has been a concern especially in my fiancé's office where the ventilation is basically nonexistent. The windows are small so we're forced to use a portable AC unity and it struggles to keep up in the hot summer months.
Its always funny to see europeans or americans being amazed at this things, they have been standard for mexican households for about 15 years
I work at home and my ac vent is not blowing so I have to keep my door open with 2 dogs and an 8year old.
I like jokes. But jokes about air conditioners?… I'm not a fan.
@JonRettinger-u5r 🤨 you da real Jon Rettinger? If you’re not, you have to tell me like the undercover cops lol
having one of these for my finished basement would be great, its super hot here during summer time @tewanipb
I'll install it in my garage along side my Mr cool and see which one performs better......@nyc_992
thankee! i could use that sweet sweet cool air! better than my tent that the fridge is open into. better than my attempt to set the oven on cold though. heheheh @jonathanrmedina
I would install it in my Living Room @marisagbecerra
I would use the money to buy myself an AC in Eastern Europe! @AleksandarT10
surprisingly quiet & efficient, looking for a new HVAC unit so would consider this as well @srhtripathi
high-quality product from Senville that functions well, we have been using window a/c for years & I think now is the perfect time to upgrade @irahul4sharma
