The face reveal was really important because he was the players character in the first Space Marine game and at the end his fate is unknown after the game with many speculating what was going to happen to him (won’t spoil what happened if your going to play that game).
SPOILERS….. I really hope that Leandros was turned u to a servitor because death is too lenient for what he did. I understand he took the codex as the only thing they should ever follow and he was concerned about the whole thing of Titus touching warp energy. However the things that make things worse is that he is a sargent who is questioning and back talking a Captain who greatly outranks him. The worst thing he did however was ratting Titus out to the Inquisition. If you think you brother is tainted by chaos you inform your chapters master Chaplain and let him do his job testing Titus. When something like this happens you make sure to keep it “in house” and let it get figured out that way. What you don’t do is get someone on the outside involved or let others know of the possible corruption to your chapter, especially the Inquisition. By getting the Inquisition involved they are now going to go thru your chapters entire infrastructure and interrogate who they want. This could also threaten to have your entire chapter labeled as heretics if things don’t go right. Not to mention that many Inquisitors have massive egos and some go out of their way to try to find flaws in space marine chapters to justify their beliefs. In the end he broke many rules by getting the Inquisition involved.
@@crimsonknight7011 well said. It would be like a US Marine suspecting that a fellow Marine was a traitor and sending a letter to the FBI or the president about it instead of just telling his CO. Not exactly illegal or anything but, definitely a big stab in the back.

Fun fact about Titus (the player character) his previous title in the Ultramarines was Captain of the 2nd Company, which these days is held by a fellow that goes by THE MOST ILUSTROUS CATO SICARIUS.
The weapon that tyranid warrior had was a venom cannon, it fires crystallized bolts of metal-coated corrosive venom which shatter into jagged shards which lacerate, burn and poison the enemy simultaneously.
Titus is the protagonist of this game as well as the first. That they announced it was quite a surprise given that many years passed between games. The second part moves the character to the present of the setting, now he is not only a primaris (the new version of improved space marines) but his rank has changed compared to the first game. Also, from what little is seen in the trailer, it is more brutal than it was in the first game, but a lot of things happened at the end of the first game and a couple of centuries passed between that and the beginning of the second game. More than enough time for anyone to change a lot. The game maintains one of the iconic mechanics of the first, healing with brutal executions, yes, in this game killing enemies in an exaggeratedly brutal way heals.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames In the original I think so, in this game I don't know. But I don't think it's a problem, Titus has a shield that recharges so before suffering permanent damage he needs to suffer some hits.

To put it into real life perspective. The current record for fastest human is held by Usain Bolt at 27.78 miles per hour. There are books that have said that a Space Marine can sprint at up to 40-50 miles per hour.
Tyranids are directly based on Predators and Aliens "and other cinematic gribblies" per Jes Goodwin, one of their most influential visual designers. The game is very button mash friendly. "What weapon" that is a Venom Cannon which has the distinction of being the only weapon aside from a particular Necron weapon than can damage basically ANYTHING... literally anything, up to an including daemons via the aptly named "warp corroding venom cannon" variant. Nids mean business.
That dog is really having a good snooze. So cute. I really hope that game is going to be good. I feel we need more Warhammer games that really capture that awesome universe.
The armour they wear does not sap their stamina, it's got artificial muscle fibres that offset the weight and enhance their movements, they can easily run for hours with relative ease, and can sprint far faster than any normal human, given not just their impressive stature, but their multiple implants, including but not limited to the second heart and multi-lung.
The best Space Marine game I've played that gives the closest representation of their speed would be Boltgun where you play an Ultramarine Sternguard. Something to keep in mind, the guy you play is experiencing the world in slow motion and you can side-step gunfire. Strong recommend from me.
Funny enough, the reason they shot the Tyranids after they were already down is because of what happened in the first game. A bunch of Tyranids were playing dead, and, not knowing they were doing that, they walked passed them thinking it was fine only to get a few of their friends killed.
12:20 iirc, the regular space marine armour is _at worst_ a net neutral to wear. its heavy, but enhances the marines abilities via artificial muscles, servos and whatnot. you know, the abilities that are already superhuman. what does really slow you down is terminator armour. also just wanted to say that i love the chimera tank that the PC is walking up to right after. something about it makes it one of my favorite tanks in 40k.

Tyranids always come in huge numbers to the point that in lore its a legitimate strategy for them to just throw bodies at an entrenched position until the defenders run out of ammo. But they are rather cunning and the hive mind will always go for the strategy that it believes gives the greatest chance of success, including having tyranids play dead to set up an ambush.
Titus looks tired in the first trailer and my friend said " bro spent another century in service and hasnt slept a wink" and i imagined him as a waiter for some reason

In Space marine, you don't regain health through pickups or over time. The only way to regain health is to melee kill enemies. The result is that when you're at low health and a horde of enemies appear, the best strategy is to charge headlong at them
"The Tyranids look like Xenomorphs" That's because they designed an entire faction based on the 80s movies, like unironically, they saw those and went "we need some kind of uniquely alien eldritch horror shit just like that" and basically after a few design sketches, boom, the Tyranids were born
